Pleasant and quiet neighborhood, just a few minutes from downtown and the highway. Dog friendly area with walking trail. Attractive and spacious house, with ample room for gathering. We would consider staying there again.
This cottage is lovely and exactly as advertised. It's across the street from a paved walkway along a creek. We were attending the Montreat Worship and Music Conference, and it was less than a 10 minute drive (45 minute walk) from Anderson Auditorium, about 5 minutes or less from downtown Black Mountain. The only issue was that there was only one AC unit. The two bedrooms upstairs were a good bit warmer than the downstairs part of the house. The property manager offered window AC units, but it was cool at night and we just opened the windows. All that being said, we definitely would stay there again. We had a few friends over one night and the kitchen was well-stocked to cook.
