"Hotel is clean and nice, however checking in was terrible. This reservation was made through a third party (hotels.com) and there was no mention of an age requirement for check in. This hotel requires a person to be 21 years old to check in and stay alone in a room. My daughter was checking in to be with her boyfriend who was shipping out to boot camp the next day. It was stressful and inconvenient to be told at check in that this was a rule. If the hotel has an age requirement, they should make that known at the time of reservation. Nowhere in email confirmations, or information on the website is this mentioned. What made it worse was that they didn’t care that it was a military service stay. I ended up having to drive 2 hours to be able to check her in and make an unplanned stay overnight because their rules are not clearly stated. No matter how nice a hotel, if they can’t clearly state their rules, and are unsympathetic to situations like this, they don’t deserve my business. I do NOT recommend this hotel and will not be using them again."
