The only complaints we had, was that the toilets upstairs were low and it was a bit of a struggle to get off them. There was air in the water system so it was very noisy when flushing toilets. Otherwise the house was excellent, it was a good place for visiting Durham, Newcastle etc; the local amenities were dry good and we would recommend the Pollard pub.

The house was lovely, really clean and everything you would need was available.

The house was lovely, really clean and everything you would need was available. The beds were extremely comfortable with lovely crisp clean bedding. Towels were of excellent quality as well. The only slight negative was the WiFi connection was very slow, ADSL quality I think. Wasn’t a problem for us as the mobile reception was very good. The area was really quiet and the location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area. Highly recommended if you are staying in the area and want a nice quiet base.
