Didn't seem to be much around the hotel, so would recommend it you're not looking to walk around near the hotel.
The car park was very busy (may be because there was a football match about to start) - cutler have been unlucky and both got a space
Breakfast good.
Not luxurious but really good value for money
The staff were great, and the building itself was really nice. The café inside was a lovely place to relax and lounge. The only downside was that the surrounding area looked a little rough.
A few things to note before booking: There was extensive construction along the entire street out front, which looked like it would continue throughout November. At night, traffic was bumper-to-bumper for hours. Walking routes that would normally be short took an extra 10 minutes or so to get around the construction. Many spray painted and abandoned looking buildings. There was also a construction walkway you could try to use, but honestly, it looked like something straight out of Final Destination!
Overall, the building and staff were great, but be prepared for construction, traffic, and some inconvenient walking routes during your stay.
We needed a nights stay and booked last minute. It was central to where we needed to be. The staff were friendly. The rooms were spacious and clean. Tea/coffeee was provided. Breakfast was available. Perfect for stay in Birmingham. I will be staying again.
