"We chose the hotel because it is dog-friendly. We had some issues, but the staff sorted them out. Parking was paid for at the hotel, which was on the road. There was a blue badge holder’s parking space on the road, not far from the hotel, too. The room was large with a low sofa. We chose a king-size bed. It also had a bath on the lower floor, which I requested because of my health issues. It was very clean, had small amenities, and we could drink water, coffee, tea and hot chocolate in the room. We bought a half board when we booked. The dinner was either a starter and a main or a main and a dessert. They were delicious. There was a happy hour—two of the same cocktails for £15 in the hotel on the days. The cocktails were lovely. The breakfast had a full selection, all very freshly made and tasty. There was a continental breakfast, too. On Sunday, we could choose breakfast from the buffet as much as we liked, and on Monday, they brought the hot English breakfast to our plates. A drink from the Tochibo machine offered delicious coffee and mocha. All staff members were very friendly, helpful, and hardworking. Thank you very much to all staff members. Our dogs and we had a pleasant time in the hotel. We hope to come back again."

"Second stay here at the Falstaff in Canterbury, my favourite hotel in town, gorgeous rooms, lovely staff, and the free cheese and biscuits during happy hour can't be understated. Also you can tell a lot of a place in what they think of their customers by the quality of the bathrooms and the soap they use, The Falstaff exceeds all expectations, thanks for another wonder stay."
