"We stayed for three nights and had a wonderful experience. All the staff throughout the hotel were helpful, pleasant, and a delight to be around. We enjoyed all of the breakfasts offered to us with coffee, tea, hot chocolate available to us 24 hrs. Excellent! The casino is right on the grounds, abbreviated, but fun! Our room was clean with comfortable beds. Thank you to all the staff and we recommend this hotel to fellow travelers."

"Everything was 5 Star. So different from where we usually stay. It was just so special I will say the cabin was a little tight for two adults, a dog and a large dog bed. The room had everything you needed from plates cups bowls and coffee. A very special place so happy we stayed there. Convenient to eating and trails. WiFi Netflix Hulu and more available as a side note. When completing this review the font is so big that you’re unable to give 5 stars and can see all the options to evaluate."

"Beautiful little place tucked away on the hillside. Very well done interior. Perfect for an overnight stay with town of Trinidad only 2.5 miles away having great restaurants and grocery if needed. View of ocean could be improved by a little hedge trimming that would open up a phenomenal spot to watch the sunset. Otherwise there is a side deck that is perfect for enjoying an evening cocktail."

"The property was like an unassuming hidden gem! Small RV and cabin area, but very safe and friendly. The cabin had everything we needed for 5 of us, well appointed and nicely furnished. We had stocked up for groceries in Crescent City, driving south, which was just as well, as Orick has very little. We spent a lovely day walking through the Redwoods, then a lovely meal with some californian wine at the cabin."

"Great place to stay. We were a short drive from Prairie Creek State Park, and we spent lots of time hiking in the redwoods. If you want to be close to the redwoods, this is the place to stay."

"We arrived after 10pm. We were unaware that the unit was on the second floor. There was no porch light to see the touch keys to enter the code for access. The kitchen garbage had not been emptied from the previous guests. Unit was well maintained and clean."
