"Not the cleanest or cheapest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Furniture not comfortable but the bed was awesome."

"Staff was friendly enough I suppose. I asked what the $20 deposit was for when I paid in full already and she responded with "that's just what we do". Not rude but maybe not a people person. The room was decent and beds were clean, however they do need to invest in pest control. The older man that cleaned the rooms was very kind. All in all the stay was great, across from the water for that rate was what we needed."

"Don't go there. I booked a nonsmoking room at Twin Star Lodge a week in advance. When I arrived they moved me down the street to the Star Lodge where they only had a smoking room.The bathroom light didn't work, but there were four whole cigarette tracks burned into the shower base (Who does that?). The air conditioner was falling off the wall.There are inexpensive alternatives on the beach. Shame on Expedia for listing this place!"

"Excellent location right on the beach! Loved waking up to the massive gulf view. The condo was spotless, comfortable and had everything you could possible need. Would definitely return! "

"Shower curtain looked like someone had either thrown up on it or it was poop. Under the microwave was dirty with some kind of dried up liquid, shower had hair on the tub and there was dirt and hair around the base of the toilet closes to the tub. Otherwise the room where the bedding was was clean."

"Great location, right across from the beach. Pet friendly. Rooms are dated and have some cosmetic issues but pool is in good condition. The lack of a coffee maker in the room was a disappointment. Also, there are no elevators so be sure to ask for a first floor room if you have mobility issues. Super friendly staff at the front desk and two adjacent restaurants give a dine in discount if you show your room key card. "

"Came in early to enjoy some beach and fun before a volleyball weekend. Great location! Host was amazing! Would also recommend the Happy Fishing Charters with Capt. Angie & Lily! "
