New listing, Sauna, 5-bedroom Lake House on Millinocket Lake,BSP, Paddle boards
10/10 Excellent
"We had an amazing time at this awesome lake house in Lake Millinocket. We saw the ice out happen while we were there, saw several moose (even some while hiking), visited the ghost trains, ice caves, trout mountain and many other hikes. Jaime’s communication was excellent and the recommendations for food and hikes were super helpful. The house had some of the best views of Katahdin we’ve ever seen. The sauna was wonderful to head into after a long day of hiking to sit back and take in all the Mountain Views. The house is super spacious and well equipped. We had a wonderful restful vacation! Thank you, Jeremy, Courtney and Baylon"
"The Host was excellent. She would check in with us to see if needed anything. The place was clean and very homey! Location was right down from the park and main street in Millinocket. This VRBO had little things such as tea, tylenol, little chocolates, etc. which made it feel even more special. "
"Wonderful base of operations for our days into Baxter State Park (highly recommended). Wonderful views out over the lake. We enjoyed hearing the calls of the loons in the evening and overnight.Heating the place can be a little awkward (there’s a Heat & Glo) gas fireplace with a heated air fan that serves this purpose (better than I expected) and portable electric radiators for the upstairs bedrooms if needed. There’s no TV and no central air but honestly that’s part of the point - and neither are necessary here. (They do have Wi-Fi so you won’t really be completely off the grid.). In warmer months, you could definitely enjoy getting in the water here as well. This place was wonderful for getting away from it all, yet right in the middle of a lot of other things."
