Big Bend Ranch State Park Tours and Activities

The Closed Canyon hike in Big Bend Ranch State Park was completely deserted when we went on a Tuesday in April. We hiked further than the 0.7 mile indicated on the signage, and ended up scooting and scrambling up the most interesting narrow and smooth chutes. We heard the song of the elusive canyon wren, too. Amazing. Room was nice and clean. Floor was quiet. No iron or ironing board. Only a hand held steamer. Only issue was with Valet. Was charged 49.00 after overnight stay but also had a 17.00 parking garage charge from Valet retrieving my car the next morning. Overall it was a good trip.
