This was the perfect place to stay for a weekend getaway. The place was cozy, spacious, and had everything needed. Best of all, it was right in the middle of all the action downtown, so coffee, dinner, and shops were all footsteps away. Despite it being located downtown, it was still quiet inside.

We had a great visit. The location is great for walking to dinner. It’s right in the village and was still quiet. An AC was provided which was nice since it was a little warm out. It’s a bit rustic, but that is to be expected when visiting the mountains.

Perfect little place in Big Bear

I chose this place because of its location and price. After staying here, I would bet it is one of the best vrbo values in Big Bear. There are 19 steps in the staircase, so make sure you can manage that prior to booking. If that isn't an issue I highly recommend this property.

Convenient, clean location

This was a fantastic place to stay! It was clean and roomy. Checking in and out was fast and easy. The only concern would be that the kitchen only has the bare basics, so plan to bring your own things (spices, tools, etc) if you plan to do much cooking. This is not a problem for me as I was there quite briefly and ate dinner at Saucy Mamas next-door (Delicious!!) The location was super convenient, and it was nice to have parking right there.

Great place to stay!

We loved this place. The property manager responded quickly. The check in process was easy and smooth. Location was perfect in the village with shops and restaurants right outside your door. The rooms were clean and even though you are on the main street in the village it was quiet in the room. Enjoyed having a kitchen and cooking utensils. Note for people coming is that yes, the kitchen is fully functional but you do need to bring your own spices, condiments, foil, etc. Not a knock on the property at all just giving people a heads up if that was a question. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would 100% recommend.

Stayed here for a quick trip to pick our daughter from camp. Location was perfect! Such ease to check in. Communication was great. Would recommend it to anyone wanting to park their car and roam around town on foot.

It was hot in big bear. Place had no central a/c. Room was still hot at night which made it hard to sleep, even though there was a portable a/c unit and it cooled down at night. When we left the rental, the caretaker blamed us for a lamp that was broke and stated they would contact the owner to see how much we would need to reimburse them. We didn’t break anything, and only after a request for a review was sent to us, the caretaker said they would disregarded any charges. We did not appreciate the accusations because we are good renters, we have rented through Vrbo for several years, we left the unit better than we found it, we never broke any items in the rental, and the rental was not enjoyable due to lack of central a/c. I would not rent this place again nor would I recommend it to anyone.
