    This completely remodeled lakeside patio boosts a heated gazebo with mini fridge, warming drawer, built in Lion gas BBQ, state of the art Hot Spring jacuzzi and large custom gas fire pit overlooking a breathtaking lake view.

    This charming lakefront cottage is located in one of Big Bear's finest neighborhoods. Nestled in the trees at the end of quiet Gilner Point on Metcalf Bay, the home is situated on one of the best view lots on the lake with beautiful sunsets. A private hot tub is available for relaxing after a day on the lake or the slopes. Deep water boat dock for aquatic adventures with ski slopes only a few minutes away. A snow play park and cross country skiing is nearby. Large level property.

    The comfortable and inviting great room has spectacular lake views with beautiful sunsets. There is a new large flat screen TV and a comforting gas fireplace. A fully stocked kitchen looks out on to the lake and includes: pots and pans, dishware, Keurig coffeemaker and a 5 cup and 12 cup coffeemaker, coffee grinder, microwave, gas range, fridge and dishwasher.

    Play games at the large dining room table with panoramic views of the lake and mountains while enjoying the ambiance of lakefront mountain living.

    A sun room is located off the great room and can be used to enjoy the views or sleeping on those warm summer nights.

    There is a large deck overlooking the private 80 ft. lakefront with sandy beach and fantastic boating. This home offers one of the best fishing locations on the lake. Bring your boat, jet ski or rent a pontoon boat from nearby Holloway’s Marina. The dock is not available during the winter months.

    The home is located 3.9 miles (11 minutes) from Snow Summit Ski Resort and 1.56 miles (5 minutes) from the Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain.


    There are 3 bedrooms:

    The large master bedroom is located off the great room and has a small private bathroom. Cuddle up on the loveseat and read a book in privacy.

The perfect cabin

We’ve stayed in big bear since I was a child and this cottage was just what we were looking for. Location was quiet-traveling with young kids they took their naps without any interruption and we got to enjoy the jacuzzi and lake views! The property was immaculately cleaned and check in was a breeze! We can’t wait to come visit again!

Paradise found in Big Bear!

What an amazing weekend we had staying at this beautiful property. Lorri's attention to detail shows throughout the interior and exterior of this home and the amenities make this the best rental we have ever stayed in at Big Bear. The outdoor heated cabana was a life saver on a chilly weekend and allowed us to spend a significant amount of time outdoors when we wouldn't have been able to otherwise. We definitely plan to come back in the warmer months to utilize the outdoor, resort style amenities the home offers. Truly worth every penny and we can't wait to return!!

This is a charming and idyllic property that was a hit with friends and family of all ages. So Cozy and Comfortable

We’ve stayed at Lorrie’s place a few times so far. It’s our favorite place on Big Bear Lake. The view is breathtaking, the Cottage is perfect for a smaller group. Everything you need is provided. The manager Pandora meets you there to answer any questions you might have, and is very welcoming and helpful. Lorrie, the owner, is very responsive before and during your stay. Highly recommend you book this wonderful place.

Weekend get away

My wife and I were so blessed to stay here! Lori is a great host with excellent communication. Pandora was so sweet to us. She showed the entire place explaining all the details. The view of the Lake is so beautiful, the cottage was super clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the spa, fire pit and we were able to relax and see God's beautiful creation! Inside was also super nice. It was a great weekend get away and would love to return.

Sister's 60th birthday celebrations!

I can't say enough about this property. The cottage was beautiful and cozy and had everything we needed. We kayaked, played corn hole, and enjoyed relaxing around the fire pit watching the boats go by and taking in the serene sunsets. The lake view was simply spectacular! Our host Lorri was so friendly and easy to communicate with and her check in host Pandora made sure our stay was perfect. We'll definitely be back...we already miss it!

Check in was so simple. Pandora was so lovely and kind. Lori was so quick and available if we needed anything. The home was spotless....I mean so, so clean! Everything was stocked. The pictures on vrbo are great, BUT it's even more breathtaking in person. We will for sure be back.

We love this place!

We have been multiple times and it gets better each time. Love that they have 3 different sized kayaks to choose from now. Great location, right on the lake with great sunset views. Close to the vial page too. Lorri is a great host and takes care of us each time. There was a slight issue that was out of her control but she fixed it right away and made it right. My only complaint is that it’s not available enough for us to stay more often haha!

Relaxation Station

We came for a few days of just straight relaxation after a busy year beginning. Pandora showed the ropes and after that was just beautiful views from the deck/ patio/ and sun room. It was mostly quiet in the neighborhood besides some local home renovations. Lots of birds and chipmunks to watch. The spa was relaxing and the same views were seen from there. Master bed was a bit firm for me but the wife slept just fine. Would do it again.

Amazing Stay

Everything about this place was spectacular. If I'm being honest part of me didn't want to post a review because I want to keep this place a "hidden gem". The host and home were so amazing that I had to share! Check in was seamless. Pandora met us on arrival, showed us around, and made sure to answer any questions we had. The home is beautiful. Situated right on the lake with a private beach and dock. The Kayaks were a big hit with my 2 young children. For the parents we loved the heated gazebo, fire pit, and hot tub! The location is also a huge plus. The home feels very private and tucked away in a wonderful neighborhood. We were still only a 3-5 minute drive from all the shops and restaurants, so going back and forth was a breeze. Our family will definitely be coming back. Thanks again for the wonderful memories.
