About this property

Walking Distance to Snow Summit

  • 2 bedroom 2 bathroom cabin that will sleep 5 comfortably and is fully furnished and outfitted as any mountain cabin should be. The living room is supplied with a mixture of nice and utterly strange decor, a relaxing gas fireplace, and 50 inch flat screen Tv set up with cable. Fast WiFi is also provided!

    Just adjacent to the living room is a dining area with a nice size dining table. The open floor plan allows direct access to the kitchen, dining room and living room. The kitchen is supplied with plates, glasses, mugs, pots and pans, cooking utensils, a Keurig coffee maker, and most other items that may be needed. If you don't feel like cooking, you can either order in or walk to multiple restaurants. Feeling adventurous you're a 3 minute car ride to The Village!

    Bedroom #1 has A full sized bed and private bathroom.

    Bedroom #2 has a bunk-bed. Lower bunk is a double, upper bunk is a single.

    A blow up mattress is available upon request.


    Wake up and enjoy a cup of coffee and people watching on your front deck as everyone struggles to find parking for Snow Summit. After a day on the slopes or at the lake, you can unwind in front of the fireplace or on have a BBQ on the deck.

My kids and I love hitting the slopes and enjoy "cabin life" to get away from the world. Our stay couldn't have been more enjoyable and comfortable. Being able to wake up and walk to the slopes was glorious. Highly recommended and we will be staying again in the future!!

Fantastic location. Minutes to walk to Snow Summit. The cabin is perfect for a family of 4. Inside you have everything you need. There is even a humidifier for the dry mountain air. We will come back.

We had a great experience spending the weekend at this cabin. The cabin was cozy and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. Everyone in our party was happy with our cabin. The location was perfect, within a very short walk to Snow Summit lifts - we did not have to deal with parking or shuttles at the resort. The cabin was clean and well-maintained, and Brian was an exceptional host - very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway in Big Bear.

Great property walking distance to Snow Summit

Property is as advertised. Very nice, clean and homey cabin with a Bigfoot theme. Our family of 5 was very comfortable. Nice kitchen to cook in. We walked to Snow Summit each day and came back to grill on the deck for lunch. Brian is easily reachable and responsive. Had a wonderful time and would rent again anytime. Parking at Snow Summit is a huge headache so this cabin takes all the pain of parking away.

Great stay at a cabin close to Snow Summit

Very clean and well kept all amenities listed were in good working order. I can’t tell you how much broken lights and door handles etc can be an inconvenience. Also appreciates the brightness of night lights; would have been perfect for kids! 11a check out was great too I wish I could have stayed longer to soak it all in longer. Thank you for having me and hope I can return!

The perfect getaway

This property was a place for me and my wife to rest during the weekend and it was the perfect choice. The neighborhood is clean and it is situated separately from other properties. The inside is very cozy (a lot of Bigfoot, deer, and bear decorations) and we were able to getaway with using a lot of the amenities that were provided. We especially liked the fireplace during the night and took full use of the propane grill outside. The road is great for walks with tall pine trees and not many cars drive through. Also, there are a lot of activities and Vons within 10 minute drive. Getting rid of trash at a public trash ground was also easy as it was close by too. Lastly, the communication between the property manager is very fast. I would definitely come back again.

Great location

Loved staying here as the best part was the location. Having only a 5 min walk to Snow Summit allowed us to maximize our time on the slopes. We could easily walk there in the morning, go back to the house for lunch and then back out again. No having to deal with finding parking was fantastic!! And had the peace of mind knowing that if one of us was tired, it was an easy walk back to the house. The house was comfortable and very clean. We did hear the snow makers/blowers from the ski resort on the first day early in the morning but it was not an issue to fall back asleep. We were worried about night time noise from the resort but after 9 pm it was quiet. There was one portable heater that kept the bedroom warm. And additional blankets/comforter as well. Otherwise, really comfortable and cozy house to stay in. The host was responsive with our requests.
