Great mountain stay!

Friends and family for a quick mountain weekend get away. Lots of amenities and a great location. It was in a quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend!

Family Spring Break Trip

Centrally located, clean, and everything you need in home for a nice stay. We had so much fun playing in the yard, relaxing in the hot tub and exploring the city. The beds were comfortable too! Texting the management was easy and they were very prompt on their responses. I would recommend this home for your vacation.

Relaxing, peaceful weekend

We enjoyed this spacious, comfortable house the last weekend in October. The weather was great. The house was clean and had everything we needed. I forgot dog bowls and was surprised to find them provided. Our dog enjoyed the fenced in yard and we enjoyed the hot tub. Communication was easy, prompt, and clear. The neighborhood was quiet and very pleasant.

Birthday Fun

We rented this cabin to stay with our son and some of his friends for his 18th birthday. While they were mostly gone day and night snowboarding, my husband and I were able to enjoy the home and all that it has to offer. It is walking distance to the Village for shopping and dining. It is really close to Snow Summit and the 'kids' were able to easily get themselves and their gear back-and-forth from the home to the slopes. Everyone enjoyed shooting pool, playing poker, and lounging by the multiple fireplaces. Check-in was really easy and management was very communicative. We had a great time and look forward to renting the unit again.

Quick Trip

Nice location. Great house. Wish it was cleaner - I found blood the size of a dime on the pillowcase in the downstairs bedroom; kitchen floor was not clean and fans were caked with dust. Thankfully I brought my own pillows. Also only 3 jets worked in the hot tub, so that was disappointing. Loved the upstairs loft and pool table.

The house layout is wonderful, plenty of family activities. One suggestion would to replace the king & queen mattress they are lumpy and uncomfortable. Other than that very nice place to stay.

Great house, great location!

The house was perfect! It was clean, warm, comfortable, and right down the street from Snow Summit. The beds are comfortable, the hot tub works great, and everything was clean. We'll definitely stay here again!

Nice cabin, close to Snow Summit

Really great location, down the street from snow summit. Cabin seems to have been remodeled, has basic necessitates, and is a nice stay. Only drawback is that there isn’t much hot water, so shower quick.

Great cabin close to hiking!

Spacious and well-appointed cabin in walking distance to trails as well as downtown Big Bear. Quiet neighborhood and a wonderful yard for the pups! Beautiful deck, as well as a relaxing front porch.

3 out of the 5 people staying here had major allergy reaction to this house. Not sure if it was the fact that his place is pet friendly and just animal dander everywhere. Lots of light switches that don’t turn on anything. A few random curtains thrown on ground and broken closet doors was worried we would be hit with damage feed. Besides the location to town. I would not stay here again.

Location!

Property was perfectly located to ski slopes. The home was very open which was nice for family. The pool table and game table in loft was a good time with all. The jacuzzi had too much chemicals in it when we finally were able to use it but couldn’t stay in for more than a few minutes because it burned our eyes. Didn’t use it after the one time which was a bummer. The backyard had a lot of dog poop in it but the swing was cute. Overall we enjoyed ourselves.

Perfect!

You are always a bit leery when booking a home sight unseen; however, we were very pleased with this vacation home. It has plenty of room for everyone and a large loft with a full size pool table (this was not shown in the pictures so we were pleasantly surprised), bumper pool, fireplace, television, and games. The gas to the upstairs fireplace was turned off so it was a bit challenging to get the fire going. The backyard is large with beautiful trees, deck, jacuzzi, and a tree swing which was also not advertised. It is within walking distance to Snow Summit and 1.5 miles from the village. We had fun in town with axe throwing and visiting alpine slides. The power went out while we were there and I understand this is a common issue in Big Bear. We could not locate any flashlights or candles so were stuck using our flashlight on our phones. You might consider bringing with you just in case. The front porch is also quite relaxing. The entire neighborhood is rental homes (with the exception of 1) and we were the only ones there so it was very quiet and peaceful. The jacuzzi was hot and relaxing. There is a propane bbq in the back and it was out of propane but they brought us a full tank without us even asking. Late checkout is available but they don't open until 10 so we packed up only to find out we could have stayed until 1. Overall great experience and I would definitely book this home again.

Nice vacation memory

First of all, I would like to thank to people who work at the on-site office. We got a very good first impression before heading to our rental home. They are so kind and helpful. Happy trail is a nice house. It is bigger than picture shown. Property is clean and has quiet neighborhood. Jacuzzi is spacious and working well. It has a pool table, 2 bunker beds, gaming toys for kids. Nice fireplace & backyard too. Recommended to go for a walk to see other houses around. Few things that need an attention. Mattress is not a good condition. All the windows are difficult to open and hold, especially kitchen area. We had really good time staying there. Thank you!

Big Bear Vacation

We enjoyed our stay. Pool table, fun! Jacuzzi, fun! (Couldn't figure out how to turn it off). It was big and clean. Problems were: the water was not hot, so we took luke warm showers. There weren't enough dish towels. I worry about cleanliness if renters are expected to wash the dishes, because it's not possible with dirty dish towels. There's not a proper dish rack. Some of the dishes in the cabinets were DIRTY. We couldn't get figure how how to get the dishwasher to work. But we loaded it when we left. Other than that, everything was great. Oh, Mixing bowls! There were not mixing bowls. We made pancake mix in a metal pot.

Great location

If you’re planning on going to snow summit- this is it. Literally around the corner. It was easy to go for a few hours to the slopes, come home for lunch- then back again. Property was great. Out kids (ages 15 through 7) loved the loft and the games up there. Great spot. Would book again

Nice place but it could of been better

Experience was good. Only thing I wasn’t satisfied about was the cleanliness. The comforters on the beds were dirty and had lots of pet hair. Their was lots of pet hair on the furniture and rug in the living room other than that the proper was nice.
