Great find-hidden away just off route 1 before you reach Bifrost on the west coast of iceland. No one there but us- legend says the dwelling place of pixies and trolls...perfect for a picnic 👌
View of the Ring Road from the top of the Grábrók Crater. #Hiking up here was really windy but so easy. The path is very well maintained and you can walk around the entire rim of the crater. It's a nice stop on the western coast of Iceland. If you're on a #roadtrip around the whole Island I'd recommend it. It's quick and neat!
This is the crater of Grábrók volcano. After a steep hike up you can walk into the crater. It is still active, but hasn't blown in hundreds of years.

A wonderful place to spend the night
The property was very nice, I enjoyed the interactive troll themed hiking trails and spring fed hot tubs in the evening. Cabins were clean and cozy, probably the comfiest mattress I slept on durning my trip. Each cabin had a small mini fridge and the shared bathrooms were only a 30 second walk away. ...
