"The ground floor room was comfortable and adequate for our two night stay. There was some traffic noise from the busy main road, but it wasn’t too much of an issue. The hotel is situated close to the bus stop where there are frequent buses into the city centre."

"I enjoy a hotel that makes you feel like the location… not some generic place that looks the same in every location. The Porterhouse was great in that regard, made me feel like I was in Oxford. Clean and comfy room and great location. Staff was great and helpful in every way! Breakfast was nice. I would definitely stay again!"

"I arrived later on in the evening so reception was closed.
Contact number was provided on the door, which I called and was quickly guided to the location of my key to gain entry.
Room was really homely and clean.
Hotel has a car park onsite.
I didn’t eat or drink at the hotel but they do have a bar."

"This was a lovely B&B to stay at. The furnishings were very British and great for our England travels. The breakfast was tasty and had plenty of choices. Michelle was friendly and polite and not at all pretentious, very inviting and comfortable."

"I enjoyed my stay! The breakfast was excellent!! Only reason why I gave a 4 star was because on several occasions when Room service cleaned the rooms they won’t change the beddings and sheets had to call several times to get them to change it. But I will definitely be booking again."
"Loved our stay. Highly recommend this place. The bunk room was super fun and surprisingly comfortable for 4 adults. Staff were so welcoming and provided super helpful tips on traveling into Oxford. And the food at the restaurant was great. We would definitely stay again."
"There were not enough staff in the Restaurant or the Bar.
At Breakfast, tables were not cleared; Food items not replenished etc. Staff were trying hard though it seemed.
Only one person at the Bar at one stage who had clearly not been trained sufficiently e.g. she did not know how to open a bottle of wine with a corkscrew and it broke."
"I stayed for two weeks aat the hotel, Great location walking distance to the station and a short bus ride to my brother's Care home. Property was well maintained and the cleaning and front office staff were very responsive and helpful. The breakfast could have been better and tastier. Finally the gym equipment was inadequate and the
gym card did not work beyond the first day. Luckily, MK has many beautiful walking paths nearby which I was able use daily."
"My stay at Bicester Golf Club Hotel & Spa was genuinely enjoyable. The property is calm, well‑kept, and offers a comfortable experience across the board. The facilities are clean, the rooms are spacious, and the overall atmosphere is relaxing. A special mention for Molly, who we met every morning at breakfast. She was consistently exceptional - warm, attentive, and incredibly professional. She remembered small details, checked in proactively, and made each morning feel welcoming. Her service stood out and elevated the stay."
