"This is a beautiful hotel with friendly hlpful employees. My only complaint was that the breakfast food was not hot. They need new food warmers. Otherwise a great place."
"Beautiful "on-mountain" property. Rooms were clean. Plenty of food at breakfast with tons of complimentary water bottles to stay hydrated. JP made our group's stay memorable with his warm hospitality."
"Just like a hallmark card. The most friendliest and helpful staff you can find. We loved relaxing here and taking in the atmosphere. Lots of amazing restaurants within walking distance and the free shuttle was really helpful in getting around. So many small touches that made this place one of our favourite places to stay. AMAZING! We came in summer and hope to comeback one day in the winter and experience the snow and ski fields."
"Spent one night here in late June. My room had a gorgeous view of the river out back and was nicely furnished with what looked like antiques (ie four poster bed). My friend and I sat outside in the evening at one of the many fire pits talking and reading. Staff was friendly and helpful. My one wish was that there was an elevator for me (older lady) to get my bag to the second floor and also I would have preferred a walk-in shower vs a tub I had to step into (same reason-my age). I must note that staff offered to take my bag up for me though!!! Convenient free parking. No restaurant or breakfast on site."
"The place is absolutely beautiful. The room was very clean and comfortable. We never actually saw a staff person other than the lady serving the 5pm happy hour wine and cheese. She was great. So if you need a staff I’m not really sure how to get in touch with anyone. We would definitely stay there again if we were in the area."
"Absolute gem on the edge of.downtown. super walkable everywhere in terms of shopping, and within a 5 min drive to less pricier food options away from downtown. Jessica was an amazing and gracious host. The oatmeal with maple syrup, apples and walnuts was the quintessential Vermont start to the day. So many unique touches in terms of aesthetics made it feel homey yet held to the character of a nearly 200 year old home. Stay here."
"The place was a gem. What a beautiful view of the lake. The manager at the lodge was so helpful and friendly. This truly was a relaxing and fun stay. We plan to definitely come back. We had such a got time meeting new people and spending time outside by the fire and watching the lake and the great views."
"This is the best hotel in years that our family has stayed at!!! Super clean, the room is phenomenal, staff is extremely polite and helpful, breakfast is made to your specifications when you order it so it's fresh and hot. And the price is exceptional for what you get!"
