Great spot for family

The location was wonderful with a pool, tennis courts, and a tram stop right outside the door. Living, dining and bedrooms had been updated nicely. The only downside was that it seemed housekeeping left before they finished preparing the condo for our arrival- one bed had no sheets, though a bag of clean linens was left by the front door, and a broom and mop were left on-site but not put away. Not the property owner's fault, but a heads up for Vacasa.

Convenient

We stay at Sea Colony every year and this was our first time renting a property managed by Vacasa. Although the location of the unit was very convenient and close to the pool and tram stop, the condition of the property was not great. The floors were filthy and the sheets on the main bed had dirt stains all over them. We had take off and treads the sheets before being able to go to bed. Also, in properties we stayed at prior there were some basic need things available in the kitchen, such as salt, pepper, coffee. This house had absolutely nothing. We had to purchase everything from sugar to salt to seasoning. Other than those issues, the house was satisfactory, spacious, and conveniently located.

Stokes vacation

We love Sea Colony but as was the case several times before, the place was a bit dirty and dated. Both sliding doors were smeared in what looked like a toddler had sunscreen on the hands and painted the windows. The comforters looked stained, and the single beds were noisy as the frames were loose.

Good Enough

I had always stayed in the high-rise condos at Sea colony. This year we decided to try the town houses across the street. Being that it was a last minute vacation I was happy with the price and booked it. The location was fabulous. Upon arrival, I had to call housekeeping because the place was left disgusting. Food in the silverware drawer and dirty dishes and the bathrooms, definitely not cleaned well. Once we got that straightened out, the place served it’s purpose.

We love Sea Colony

If your love tennis, beach, and swimming pools for splashing around as well as for swimming laps, Sea Colony is a perfect place. We've been coming to Sea Colony for many years and I believe this was our second time at this unit. The unit is nicely decorated and has everything you might need. Great location close to the tennis center and a very nice pool right out the door.

Great except for some unwanted guests

Nice location, and had everything you’d need for a comfortable, relaxing stay for not too bad of a price. Only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is that we seemed to get a great deal of tiny black ants in the apartment. Only a minor annoyance to me, but the kids weren’t too fond of them.

Perfect Girlfriend getaway

We had a great experience at Sea Colony. We stayed near the tennis courts - which was about 0.7 miles from the beach. It was a fine location and near the fitness center and other available pools. I wish there was more info regarding COVID closures etc. The pool next to our condo was not open but others were. Parking at the resort was hard to find if you stay off site. But there is a tram available which we did not know about. The condo itself was decent. They charge a cleaning fee which I’m not sure why because we had to strip the linens, pile up the towels and put the dishes in the dishwasher before we left. And we cleaned a lot on our own when we got there bc we were being cautious. Besides - we found so many legos, marbles and toy cars lying around near the couch - makes me wonder if anyone did any real cleaning. The resort fee is okay but a bit steep for all the closures, and only 2 parking passes and no option to purchase an extra one. BUT, Bethany was a great place. We biked 50 miles to OC and back, did kayaking at Fenwick and parasailing. The location was convenient. The tv was available for free Movies. This condo had a screened in porch which was nice. I would def rent here again. Just now I am more aware what to expect.

Summary

Great location. House was clean except floor corners of kitchen and bathroom. Outside of kitchen appliances needed wiped off. Would have used outside porch but it was too dirty to just wipe off. Overall had a great time

Nice decoration and appliances for families

We stay 4 adult and 4 kids. Got everything inside to accommodate all. Beds are comfortable. We found chance to watch tennis matches. pool is very close.
