The best time to visit Besano is during the spring (April to June) and autumn (September to October) months.

These periods offer the most pleasant weather, with mild temperatures and less humidity, making it ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the area and enjoying outdoor activities. You'll find the countryside is at its most picturesque, with blooming flowers in spring and beautiful foliage in autumn.

For those interested in hiking or cycling, these months provide comfortable conditions for long days out on the trails around Lake Lugano or up Monte San Giorgio. The clear skies also offer excellent visibility for enjoying the panoramic views.

Summer (July and August) can be quite warm, and it's also the peak tourist season, meaning popular attractions might be busier.
