Such a unique hotel in a Daliesque style. Loved everything about it. Location, room was scrumptious, close to everything, staff were excellent and really helpful. Highly recommend!

Pool great in hot weather

I recently spent three nights at the wonderful Hotel de Ciutat Girona. My room on the second floor was very spacious, extremely clean and quiet for a good night’s sleep. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was spotless. The breakfast buffet had everything you needed. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Good modern hotel. Best probably if you have a car. A bit far to walk to the old quarter often, though there are buses (Line 2) available nearby. And of course taxis. Apart from that I would recommend highly.

The staff was amazing! The location perfect right off exit 7 of the auto via. We also left car there and took the city bus to girona sites... Nice breakfast, free coffee and tea all the time..microwave in lobby which can be used.

Staff were wonderful. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Location with regard to the old town, was 1 block and you were in the middle of history.

Our stay was after a short train journey from Perpignan in France prior to collecting another car in Gerona (one way drop off fees are excessive) and the Carlemany was ideal as it was only 300 metres from station. It is by far the best 4 star hotel we have stayed at and the room was outstanding. There is not a lot in the immediate area but perfect for our purposes.

Really pleasant stay. Everything you would expect for a hotel of this caliber.
