First time we have never given a 5 star review for Cottages.
First time we have never given a 5 star review for Cottages.com accommodation. Cottage is in a lovely area, decor a little tired. Very peaceful, however was a little surprised and disappointed to find that the kitchen tap was held together with electrical tape, presumably to suppress a possible leak, also the side lamp in living area did not have a bulb. Would like to suggest that maybe the front and rear doors could have a blind fitted for privacy, especially if you need to go downstairs to the bathroom during the night.
Little disappointed

We had an excellent time at Foulden hill cottage, using it as a base to explore the north east coast, as well as holy island and Edinburgh during our stay. The cottage was very clean and cosy, and our dog Dylan enjoyed the local walks
