2/10 Terrible

"Air conditioner was not controlled by a thermostat, and did not take care of humidity, unless turned way low. Room was not ready, for us, when we arrived after 6:39 pm, but was, due to Allyssa's valiant efforts. Upon entering our room, we found the bathroom floor to be very dirty, and it smelled like a bleach bomb had exploded. There were no other rooms to vacate to, so we were stuck with that, for three days. Upon walking around on the faroeted floors, the bottoms of our shoes, became, completely, blackened! After my wife took a shower, the next morning, we found out, from the day clerk, that NO hair dryers were furnished, in their hotel!!! Fortunately, that night, Allyssa, again, came to our rescue, in disbelief of our story, and found one. Heh- what is with the two peepholes in our door??? Ancient stuff! Just ask that female sports reporter, Erin, about what happened with her- big law suit! And, NO breakfast, if any kind... I wanted to leave, the first morning we woke up. Kudos to Allyssa, the night clerk, for saving the reputation of IHG! She deserves a huge bonus, and raise in pay!"

"Very enjoyable overnight stay. The staff were helpful and friendly, room and property was clean, breakfast was fresh with plenty of options for both hot or cold breakfast dishes. We stayed overnight on a Sunday leaving Monday morning. The only negative I could find is that there is only one elevator. If busy, that could probably become very slow. But everything else was outstanding. If in the area again, I’ll definitely be back."

"The Horseshoe Bay resort is absolutely beautiful! The grounds are pristine and the pools are all very lovely. The room was very clean and we loved the views of the lake. All of the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate at J's restaurant a few times and it was wonderful and we also enjoyed the Waterfront grill."
