The spa was a joke. The masseuse was not. She was phenomenal. But the spa itself was wildly over priced for all the amenities being out of order and outdated. Such a bummer. The only thing working was a hot tub but its coed and was full of 28 year old boys. Not my scene when trying to relax before a massage. Overall the property is out of date. The restaurants were good though and obviously we were there to golf, so the location was killer.

Service was excellent! At Js restaurant the service was incredible! Special mention to Kim or Kem she was so attentive and very pleasant! I would definitely be back! Hidden Paradise in Texas!

The property itself was nice and the staff was friendly. The room was my biggest disappointment. For the cost I would assume that the towels would be cleaned, but there were several stained towels that were folded into wash towels. The washer had water stuck in there, so it's not usable.

The amenities were great. The staff by far is what stands out here. You are greeted immediately with a kind smile, check in is easy, the staff at the restaurants are very attentive with great hospitality. Food was also very good. The rooms are very clean and spacious. Whole family had an amazing time!

I have stayed at this property previously when the beach area and pool by the yacht club were available to guests staying at the hotel. I was disappointed to find out it is no longer an option. It's such an amazing spot. I did try out the floating pool which was just OK. I arrived early at the floating pool and thankfully had the pool mostly to myself and a couple of other guests. It is small. Once the large crowds arrive, forget it. There was a group of men playing catch with a football inside the pool and taking up mostly all the space in the pool. In a very obnoxious--man-spreading type of way. Thankfully by that time I was ready to leave. I also spent a considerable amount of time at the spa, which to my disappointment needs some upkeep. The tiles on the bottom of the beautiful hot tub and pool need to be replaced: there are several tiles missing and it is an eye sore. I checked into this property for two nights, as a way to find a respite from the world. I checked in during the weekdays to avoid loud crowds. I was searching for peace and quiet and a personal retreat. Unfortunately, a couple with a loud, screeching, howling, child was placed next door to me on the second night. It howled and screeched until 11 pm and kept me awake. How irresponsible of the parents to allow their child to be so loud late at night. I did not quite find what I was looking for. I will continue on my quest for a property that offers peace and quiet and tranquility.
