Comfortable and clean. Breakfast buffet was excellent and staff was veey helpful. Near tge U3, so easyvto get downtown as well.

This property is not really for tourists but for those attending conferences and seminars in the locality. Room facilities are minimal. High point is the excellent breakfast. it is not convenient if arriving from Berlin Airport - either a very expensive taxi ride or a long, one and a half hour, trek across Berlin.

Clean, pleasant, functional

I loved this place: clean, functional, pleasant, modern, with a great breakfast and great service. Being across the street from Freie Uni is a bonus: if being close to the university matters, this is an excellent place to stay! I loved it and would happily stay there again.

We booked this hotel because my son was a guest speaker. It is a university hotel near the Frei University. This is a good hotel if you want to visit the Dalem Area. Berlin center is about 35-45 minutes away by either UBahn or Taxi. Hotel room was nice, and staff helpful and friendly.

Great Breakfast

The free breakfast was very good! It was a comfortable stay. I wish there was easier access to drinking water throughout the day. The only still water dispenser was often empty and always had citrus in it

The breakfast and kitchen staff were excellent. We found the receptionists helpful. House keeping was good (you had to request a clean though). Room facilities were poor. The mattress was very uncomfortable. We had to request for additional pillows. We got a shock that there was no complimentary tea/coffee or kettle in the room. This was a first in our travels all over the world. We had to request an iron/ironing board as well. Nowhere have we been that there was a charge for use of the gym (6 euro per visit).

The hotel and room itself was OK and functional which is all I was looking for. But while checking in at 2:15pm (usual check-in time is 3:00) I was asked to pay 15 euros if I wanted access to my room. The hotel was empty, my room was clean and ready. I was so turned off by this that this will be my first and last visit to this hotel.

This is a modern and architecturally pleasing facility with most amenities. Our room had all the necessities. The Breakfast buffet is excellent with many options for vegetarians. The only thing that was listed on expedia and is not present, is laundry, neither laundry service nor facilities on site. Finding a coin laundry was troublesome, but solvable. We did not experience the cooling problems reported by others since our trip was in October. The parking garage underneath is convenient, yet pricey. Being located in the southwest part of Berlin, we chose it by location, but we will be happy to return there on future trips.

The hotel was in an excellent location, very close to Dahlem Dorf U-Bahn station. The room was comfortable, and there was a wide range of pubs and restaurants to visit nearby. I also enjoyed the food at breakfast! Overall, a very pleasant stay!

I've always enjoyed my stay during the Berlin Marathon weekend! It's probably one of the best hotels I've stayed in Berlin. I really enjoy the location of the hotel because it's very quiet and peaceful. I also enjoyed the restaurants which are walking distance from the hotel. I'd definitely stay here again in the future!
