Everything as advertised, checked in late because of plane delays, and it wasn’t a problem. Didn’t have a problem with only knowing English. Breakfast was great with a cool view! S-Bahn is literally right outside. Used that to get all around Berlin… very easy!

Rooms and beds were good and clean. Breakfast was also good. Staff was kind & helpfull. The only bad point I have is that there is no airconditioning. It was 30+ degrees outside and inside also very hot. Made it hard to sleep.

Room 914 was clean and overall was good but the fridge wasn’t working.Check-in could have been a little quicker-only one lady and quite a queue. Breakfast was good with decent choice and the view was fantastic. Could mention on website/app that Stresow S-bahn was just a stone’s throw away-that would have been particularly helpful for me as I came by train to Spandau and could have got right next to the hotel on the S-Bahn.

It was very nice, the train station is right across the street which makes it very convenient to get around. The train can also take you straight to the airport for a cheap price if you're traveling from out of the country.

The key programming system went wrong on the last night and nobody could access their rooms, except for the master key that Reception had. This created a lot of inconvenience, time and frustration, and I deem it unacceptable.

Mein Aufenthalt im Garner Hotel Berlin - Spandau by IHG war insgesamt enttäuschend. Die Rezeption war häufig überlastet, teils unfreundlich und die Kommunikation gestaltete sich schwierig, da einige Mitarbeiter kaum Deutsch sprachen. Mehrfach wurde bei telefonischen Rückfragen aufgelegt; ein Zimmertelefon gibt es nicht, sodass die Rezeption nur über die Hotel-Hotline erreichbar war. Selbst bei der Nachfrage nach einfachen Hygieneartikeln wie Toilettenpapier erhielt ich den Hinweis, bis zum nächsten Tag warten zu müssen. Das Zimmer war akzeptabel, jedoch renovierungsbedürftig: Flecken auf dem Boden, verschmutzte Fenster und eine defekte Klimaanlagen-Bedienung minderten den Eindruck deutlich. Zudem entsprach das über Expedia gebuchte Zimmer nicht den Bildern der Webseite. Gäste, die ein Zimmer zur Bahnhofsseite erhalten, müssen mit erheblichem Lärm rechnen besonders abends und nachts bei geöffnetem Fenster. Positiv hervorzuheben ist lediglich, dass ein früherer Check-in ermöglicht wurde. Angesichts eines Preises von rund 300 € für drei Nächte war das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis jedoch unzureichend. Andere Hotels in diesem Segment bieten spürbar mehr Komfort, Service und Qualität. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt kann ich das Haus daher nicht empfehlen allenfalls für eine einzelne Übernachtung.

Also ich kann nur positives schreiben....es war alles tip top....zimmer top, Essen mega lecker und ausreichend Auswahl....wir würden dort immer wieder buchen wenn Konzert ansteht in der Waldbühne.....das personal total nett und freundlich....ihr seit rund um einfach spitzenmäßig....macht weiter so....wir kommen auf jedefall wieder....
