Room 914 was clean and overall was good but the fridge wasn’t working.Check-in could have been a little quicker-only one lady and quite a queue. Breakfast was good with decent choice and the view was fantastic. Could mention on website/app that Stresow S-bahn was just a stone’s throw away-that would have been particularly helpful for me as I came by train to Spandau and could have got right next to the hotel on the S-Bahn.

The hotel is in a town called Spandau within minutes walking to the old town which has great selection of restaurants and almost everything you need. The hotel is about 30 minutes train ride from main attractions (S3,S9). We have time in Berlin, so we felt it worth the travel time in exchange for a great hotel with reasonable prices.

Issues on check-in, confusion with bookings, key card programming not working, took a long time, bar facilities inadequate, breakfast staff didn't think breakfast was included but it was, had wrong name down for our room, etc., etc. Not sure if we will be returning.

Great location for walking to concerts at Zitadelle Spandau. Convenient S-Bahn station just across the street for traveling into downtown. Surprisingly nice buffet breakfast. Room was fine & bathroom clean. Only negative was area surrounding the hotel was fairly run down. Didn’t feel unsafe, but definitely looked shady. Easy choice for staying just outside Berlin for a reasonable price.

The key programming system went wrong on the last night and nobody could access their rooms, except for the master key that Reception had. This created a lot of inconvenience, time and frustration, and I deem it unacceptable.

Amazing!!!

The hotel is amazing!! Our room was lovely and the bathroom is very nice too. Service was good overall. The hotel do a really cool thing where if you hang out the ‘do not disturb’ sign, your room would not be cleaned and you would receive a drinks voucher (bins were still emptied during this though). The hotel is right next to the S-Bahn station, Stresow which is also a huge bonus. But unfortunately the skybar seemed to be closed, although we were never informed on that, we just guessed as the lift wouldn’t take you up there. Only things we would fault is breakfast is very experience (over €21 pp) so we never tried it, so we don’t know whether it’s good value for money, just very expensive in general. In the description of the hotel, it says ‘nightclub’ but there is none? Was very confused with that but the bar in the lobby is good.

A very clean room, friendly and helpful staff. Yes, it is a little far from downtown Berlin, but the train is directly across the street. Also, Old Spandeau is a short 10 minute walk that is safe and scenic. Old Spandeau itself is like stepping back in time. We had a very delicious lunch at one of the many bistros there. Very affordable staythat was memorable. The hotel was very quiet even after the footbal match let out.
