An upgraded GDR time hotel; an clean and pleasant place to be, with big windows and good transportation options. The sole electricity connection in a room and really old and worn bathroom equipment can pose a bit of problem.

Good but needs improvement

Need to get a better toilet seat and pillows need replacing and lastly the floor needs to be cleaned better either then that it was a very good stay.

Berlin bad experience

Crazy situation in Berlin with many cancelled flights and big conference so very few hotels available. Considering the standard the most expensive hotel I have been visit . Strange airport with low class food for high prices. General impression of Berlin is bad organization, rude people and very un-clean.

Even if you are a «happy go Lycky» kind of person you are going to hate this place. Check in takes forever, bathrooms are Worse then public toilets. No Lighting and they only want cash. Stay away, There are better hostels in Berlin

AVOID. You could hear everything happening 5 units down and in between. The non smoking room smelled so heavily of smoke I struggled to sleep. There were multiple arguments happening which concerned me. No heat. Just a white room. When someone in the next room arrived it sounded like they were in our room. The walls are so thin.

Hotel scam in Berlin.

This is more a scam than a hotel. The place is quite intimidating and so are the entourage hanging out in the lobby. They seemed to belong to the hotel in some way but did not seem to work and at some point, one of them had an argument with the receptionist when he tried to take with him the heater that was heating the reception. The room was so dirty on the floor that walking around barefoot made your feet black as you can see from the image when I scraped it against the bed.

It's like being in a freezer.

The service that refuses to take responsibility for everything. The heating system is not good. The room cannot be changed because it is the whole hotel. But the hotel said that they had informed us before booking, but there was no message informing us before booking and we could not cancel. They also said that we did not read it clearly. This kind of service has never been encountered since booking a hotel in the past 10 years.

Sauber, aber es hat überall nach Gras gerochen. Es war unerträglich im Badezimmer und auch im Zimmer. Ich hatte Probleme beim Schlafen wegen des Grasgeruchs, das war echt schlimm. Es war auch ultra kalt, die Heizung hat null geheizt und es war die ganze Zeit kalt. Der Aufzug war kaputt, wir mussten so viele Treppen nach oben nehmen, das war echt anstrengend mit den Taschen. Im Badezimmer war ein Lüfter, der die ganze Zeit ein lautes Geräusch gemacht hat, bis man die Karte rausgenommen und den Strom im Zimmer ausgeschaltet hat. Und übrigens parken kostet 7 Euro pro Tag extra. Das einzig Positive ist, dass die Zimmer relativ sauber waren.

Das erste Zimmer was uns zugewiesenen wurde war muffig und es gab dort Schimmel. Als meine Freundin zur Rezeption ging und dies erklärte bekamen wir anstandslos ein anderes Zimmer in einer höheren Etage. Dieses Zimmer war in Ordnung. Die Matratze war sehr unbequem und hart. Des Weiteren funktionierte wie im ersten Zimmer die Heizung nicht. ( Herbstende) Der Preis war im Vorfeld gering. 2 Personen, ein Doppelzimmer. Nicht desto trotz ist das Hotel bis auf die freundliche Frau ( Rezeption, Abend 28.11.) nicht zu empfehlen.
