Gorgeous place, great location!

Had a lovely stay here! Was not expecting such a nice place, one bedroom is open to the kitchen so not super private but it's great if you're a group of friends. The sofa was extremely comfy as well, I also loved the decor! It's so refreshing not to have generic grey cityscapes. Overall 10/10 would recommend

Well located in a nice building with inner courtyard. Spacious living space and well equipped kitchen. There are 4 twin beds - 2 on each side of a partion wall. The beds were not amazing but not terrible. The beds are separated but the space is shared because there are no doors on the sleeping areas and the walls do not go to the ceiling - which is an odd design...so you need to be comfortable with your companions. There are nice large windows in the apartment and it has been well decorated. The area has a lot of good restaurants and it is just minutes from a major ubahn stop.

Short stay in Berlin

Clean and safe apartment. Neighborhood is colorful but perhaps not the best for walking at night. With the exception of the bathroom, there is no privacy.

It was a very busy area, but a quiet appartment! A very friendly host and it was very near the U-bahn. It wasn’t very clean. But we had a pleasant stay!

This is a basic apartment with all the rudimentary needs. It is in a neighborhood that may look sketchy but is probably. We had no issue. Being inside the Apartment in few days leading to the Christmas felt like what East Germans might have felt under communist rule :-), Dark, uncomfortable beds, the cheapest IKEA furnishings. If you are older and are considering the place then write out all the instructions in a piece of paper and hang it around your neck, because it is like solving an Escape room puzzle :-). The contact ... Martina for us ... was very responsive though. In summary, quite adequate for young people.

Good use of the space

Berlin was our last stop. This flat was comfortable and provided a great place to stay. Near several metro lines and close to several stores, restaurants and bakeries. Quiet as it is an interior building.... despite the restaurants and bars outside. The only thing was the wifi was super slow, but we did not travel to Berlin for the wifi. ;)

The place to be in Berlin

We loved our time in Berlin. The house is three minutes away from the metro and lots of buses stop near by. You can easily reach each and every place in Berlin in max 30mins. The house is clean and very very comfortable up to 4 persons. Everything is at its place, and the owner, Martina, is always available. There's plenty of bars and restaurants and a great cinema just outside the principal door, but you don't hear any noise since the loft is separated by an inner court. The atmosphere is fantastic and you will enjoy the town pretty much. Two supermarkets are easy to reach with a 5 mins walk. Thanks a lot Martina. We had a really wonderful vacation!!!

Urlaub war schön

Schickes Loft am Kotti

Die Wohnung ist ein schickes Loft, offenbar eine ehemalige Fabriketage, lässig eingerichtet. Es gibt kein abgeschlossenes Schlafzimmer, die Schlafbereiche sind durch eine nach oben offene Wand getrennt, was uns nicht gestört hat. Draußen ist viel los, doch weil das Loft im Hinterhaus liegt, war es ruhig. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt.

Für Kurzaufenthalt geeignet

Für eine Familie nur bedingt geeignet, da kein abgeschlossener Schlafraum vorhanden ist. Die 2x2 Betten sind lediglich durch eine Wand als Sichtschutz getrennt. Es ist alles sehr offen. Die Halterung des Duschkopfes im Bad bedarf einer Reparatur. Außerdem roch es im Bad etwas muffig, da keine Lüftung vorhanden ist. Da wir den ganzen Tag unterwegs waren und die Wohnung nur zum Schlafen genutzt haben, war es okay. Einen längeren Aufenthalt in der Wohnung stelle ich mir schwierig vor, da keine Rückzugsmöglichkeit vorhanden ist.

Location, Location, Location

Since we'd been to Berlin before and were familiar with the neighborhoods, we decided to book a VRBO instead of staying at a hotel. Kreuzberg, is a vibrant and gritty neighborhood with a large Turkish population and some of the best bars and restaurants in town. Markets spill out onto the sidewalks, graffiti art splatters every building, a mix of dialects and languages fill the air, sizzles and pops send street food aromas straight up your nose making your head instinctively turn to see what you're missing...Kreuzberg is the place to be. This property is in a great location. It’s walking distance to a bus and subway stop, easily accessible to cabs and Ubers, and not far from all the tourist attractions. It’s tucked away behind a couple of security doors and a small courtyard; very secure and very quiet. The unit is spacious with lots of places to plug in. The big couch in the living room is nap-worthy. The beds are comfy enough, but more pillows would be appreciated. I’m sure COVID restrictions play a part in personal amenities available - bring your own soap and hair care products, as well as your own tissues. An extra set of towels would have been nice - and I’m sure had we asked, a set would have been supplied. Kitchen items are minimal, but we bought breakfast items at the grocery store (a three minute walk) to get us through the mornings. We ate out the rest of the time - and the choices are amazing. Coming and going as we pleased, we felt like locals rather than tourists. Would stay again.

Très bon séjour à Berlin !

L'appartement est situé dans une cour donc l'endroit est calme alors qu'il est dans une rue de bars et restaurants ouverts le soir. L'appartement est bien agencé et dispose du nécessaire minimum. A proximité, le métro et les bus qui amènent directement vers la porte de Brandebourg, l'île aux musées, Postdamer Platze... L'arrivée et le départ se sont déroulés parfaitement.
