The Ku-Damm is in walking distance. The single room was very quiet, needs renovation but it was clean and the price was perfect. The staff was very friendly.

Very tired and uncomfortable hotel

It’s a very rundown hotel and location is 15 minutes from S Bahn. WiFi very intermittent, staff just ignore you as you come and go. Bed very uncomfortable. I didn’t choose the hotel as friends did but wouldn’t stay again. No bar or restaurant as advertised.

It was a good compromise / good value if you look at price per night. Stays in Berlin are not cheap and the price here was ok. Hotel amenities were not perfect, but there is everything what you need. Minuses: no hot water in shower, only a bit warm; the hotel equipment is old, using an elevator there is a trip to the past ;) Pluses: price per night, not far away from the city center, good access to public transportation, friedly staff

Old and depressing hotel, the room was dirty and worn so as the rest of the hotel. Dust everywhere. The robotic personnel and creepy atmosphere reminded me of the Shining movie.

Overall stay is satisfactory. The only issue is the bathroom. There is no curtain so water is everywhere in the bathroom after shower although it evaporates after an hour. And the ceiling of the bathroom is quite low. For me, I am 165cm so it is so far ok for me. However, it may be an issue for other travelers.

Very poor experience overall - building was in poor condition to the point of not feeling like a safe or at all comfortable place to stay. There were exposed cables running across the walls in the bedroom, e.g. from the light switch up to the fittings. The glass in the lift was shattered. There was an unpleasant smell around the building and the cleanliness of the room was poor especially the bedding and the hard surfaces in the bathroom. Staff were fine but did not make up for the other issues. Booked for the area as was near to where family were staying, but absolutely would not book again.
