Recomendable

Una excelente atención por parte del pequeño staff del hotel. Buen desayuno. Habitación amplía. Es un hotel de barrio sin mayores pretensiones pero cumple las expectativas de una corta estadía. Medios de comunicación cercanos (tranvía, metro, tren suburbano) y muchos restaurantes en las inmediaciones.

Not Worth the Price

Tbe room is basically just a dorm room; the double bed was butted up to the wall so one partner has to climb over the other to get out. The parking was free, but you had to reserve ahead of time. And the free wifi is only available in the lobby, not the rooms. So the advertisement on Hotels.com is a bit misleading. It was very convenient to a tram stop, the breakfast was very good, and the service was kind. I didn't like it here.

Das Hotel wird ausen Umgebaut,daher sehr dunkel im Zimmer.Die Zimmer zur Straße sind sehr laut vom Autoverkehr.

Ok hotelli lyhyelle matkalle

Sijainti hyvä, U-bahn lähellä ja n.20 min. Tegelin lentokentälle taksilla (n.25 €) Monipuolinen aamiainen mutta aika niukka, täydennyksiä tuotiin useimmiten vasta kun sitä pyysi. Huone oli siisti. Rikkinäiset lamput korjattiin nopeasti. Kadun melu voi olla häiritsevä, jos huone on kadun puolella.

Zweckmäßiges Hotel

Ein zweckmäßiges Hotel in unmittelbarer Nähe zu öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. Alles in direkter Nähe (Essen, Einkaufen u.s.w.). Für unsere Städtereise mit der Familie vollkommen ausreichend.

Ideal bei wenig Hotelaufenthalt!

Ein sehr in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel, was für eine Städtereise mit wenig Hotelaufenthalt, jedoch ok ist. Preis-Leistung war ok. Nach anfäglichen Buchungsunstimmigkeiten doch alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit gelöst.

Surprisingly nice

We booked this hotel because it was right across the street from our son's apartment in Berlin. It's not near the center of Berlin, so requires taxis or metro. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. A nice walkable neighborhood area... cobblestone streets, wide sidewalks. We were a little concerned when we checked in - the receptionist doesn't speak english and I only know a little german. But, it went fine. The room was very roomy. No air conditioning, but even in mid June Berlin is plenty cool at night (55-60 degF). Shower worked fine. Room was clean. Bed is quite firm by US standards, but that's typical for Europe and suits me fine. Was surprised that we got breakfast (the reception area didn't look big enough). No eggs, but the full european spread of cheeses, meats, fruits, cookies, yogurt, breads. The morning staff (an elderly man) doesn't speak english, and at first I thought he was a bit gruff, but once we were pleasant, he was equally warm and very pleasant (he doesn't speak english either, but understands all of the customary desires of breakfast, so it's fine). I used google translate to ask him to call us a taxi on our departure, which he did... he even stood out on the street to flag the guy down and then inform us in the breakfast area that the taxi had arrived... for those under 40 yo, that is vintage european customer service. At about $100/night it was a bit pricey, but I'd do it again based on the owners/staff's charm, the location and the room.

Sauberes Hotel in Stadtnähe.

good location.

Very near the Ubahn and Sbahn station. Pleasant area to stay in. Lots of nice bars and restaurants. The owner has very limited English (he may be Ukranian) but was friendly. The staff on weekdays has a better range of English and was friendly and helpful.
