Pleasant stay

We had an excellent stay. The room was clean and suited our needs. The choice of breakfast items was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was cleaned every day. The location is good with bus stops and U-Bahn stations nearby.

We stayed two nights at the Holiday Inn Express City Centre. It was the perfect base for activities all around Berlin. Easy to get to between two different subway lines. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. The room was small but sufficient for three people (1 adult, 2 adult sized teens). The area was quiet. A excellent choice for exploring Berlin.

Reception staff exceedingly good . Polite well mannered , gave good advise for us tourists from UK with maps taxi services . Ordered taxis promptly for local tourist places and finally to airport . Being able to leave suitcases on last day after checkout till time of later flight was excellent and very convenient for us . House keeping daily cleaning of room provided fresh linen and replaced teas and coffees . Breakfast provided variety of food . Location very suitable as a short walk took us to Potsdam platz where plent of food shops and tourist buses available . Enjoyed our 5 day stay .

accommodation and breakfast are good, everything within walking distance and otherwise with the metro, only point was that the bathroom smelled of a sewer, but this would be looked into. furthermore for the price a good hotel to stay a few days in Berlin. parking is possible in the parking basement of the hotel, only the price is quite high for a day (27 euros)

Nice place to stay when in Berlin

It was amazing because I was initially allocated a small room but it was changed when I requested for a change. My request for late checkout was granted being an IHG member. The only but they don't have a chef to cook hot stuff such as Sausages nor scrambled egg.

Good location close to Potsdamer Platz and S Bahn station. Breakfast was quite poor in terms of options and can get busy but still pastries, cereals and yogurts available. Have stayed in other Holiday Inns in Germany with a lot more options. Would have preferred a safe in room and the air con didn’t work so was hot all the time. However, would still recommend based on price and location.

The rooms, though smaller than we expected, were comfortable. The reception desk staff were very friendly. We had a couple of small glitches with the room and they were promptly attended to. The hotel location was close to a number of attractions.

Excellent location, friendly staff, plentiful breakfast. Yes rooms may be on the small side but how big do you need them? I shared a twin room with my teenage son and it was fine. Berlin tourist locations within easy walking distance from the hotel but lots of transport options close by if needed. There is also a supermarket over the road if you need snacks (there are snacks/drinks and essentials also available to buy in the hotel foyer) I would definitely visit this hotel again and would recommend. Great value too.
