Well located in the center area, next door to a Metro station, several convenience stores and restaurants nearby. Room was very spacious and very quiet. Only downside was the lack of wardrobe in the bedroom and the very limited options of room service (basically options of pizza and very few others non-pizza)

Good hotel in Mitte, relaxed ambient at hotel lobby, spacious room, good amenities, close to subway station and easy access to all Berlin attractions. Did not like the bed, being two single bed side by side but not joined, it was always separating from each other.

they didn't clean our room for 3 days!!

the hotel is nice, we got big room as we were triple. the breakfast is rich, but expensive 20euro per person. but it was worth it. One big thing was not OK: they did not clean our room for 3 days!! we came after long day outside, wanting to take a shower, no towels, when we ask to get some they told us we should go down to the reception to take as there is only one person over there and they cannot come to us.. no toilet paper, no shampoo, the room was messy, and with COVID now rising up again, not to clean the room is very bad! we felt they didn't care, on day 3 we just took all garbage outside the room and the used towels.. .by ourselves... this is not good cleaning service. I am really disappointed from this. only on day 4 after yelling on them they did a "favor" and send us hose keeping woman that was very angry she has to do that!!! this is really upsetting!!!

Charming hotel in East Berlin

The Catalonia is a charming hotel in the eastern portion of the city. It was clean and comfortable, with helpful and kind staff and a modern aesthetic. The breakfast bar is extensive, but perhaps a bit pricey. The hotel is located in a dense neighborhood that doesn't always feel very clean or safe, but the hotel itself is very safe and comfortable. We heard loud sirens throughout the day and night, so there must be some sort of hospital or fire station nearby. Transportation around the city is pretty easy, with many different train stations within blocks of the hotel.

A nice hotel with an industrial style/ asthetic. The room was very spacious and had everything we needed, there was a strange smell in the room we couldnt get rid of. The smell was likely due to a dirty mop used to clean the floor. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Breakfast buffet was excellent with a huge range of food available, including fresh cooked to order omelettes and pancakes. I would definately stay again. The fitness room is small, but useful for a quick workout.
