Great place for singles or duos.

Loved this hotel! Centrally located and well kept. Not a lot of amenities, but you don’t need many when there’s this much around the area. Very clean and full of history. Will choose this place if in Berlin again!

The hotel was just what I needed for my brief stay I. Berlin. My room was basic but perfectly fine and the bed was comfortable. I appreciated the air con machine! Bathrooms etc were clean. The location was quiet despite the railway nearby and I had two excellent nights of sleep.

I spent 6 nights in mid-July at Arte Luise Kunsthotel, in Berlin. Excellent, helpful staff at the reception desk who all appear to be fluent in English. Very high standard of cleanliness maintained in the bedrooms. Helpful and clear information about baggage storage facilities before check-in or after check-out. A major plus is that guests' choice of type of breakfast can be changed from day to day - so you are not committed to a major buffet breakfast for the duration of your stay, as is the case with most hotels. Reichstag, Brandenburg Gate, etc., all within easy walking distance. Alternatively, to go further afield in Berlin or to go to Potsdam - or eventually, to go to the airport - the Friedrichstrasse Station is also easily accessible. The sight of an elevated railway line running by one corner of the hotel was initially worrying. However, I was out during the day and if trains were running during the night, I certainly never heard them. Neither trains or other guests disturb my sleep at any time. I appreciated the effort which had gone into developing the artistic theme for the hotel. I only experienced the van Gogh room but came away with a greater interest in him. Clientele seemed to be drawn from the full range of ages. I will be very happy to return to the Arte Luise Kunsthotel when next in Berlin and would have no reservations about recommending it to family and friends.

Me quedé en la habitación con baño compartido y la relación calidad precio me pareció muy bien. Los baños compartidos siempre estaban limpios y la habitación también. Las sábanas muy limpias. El hotel está muy bien decorado y es agradable. La ubicación es muy buena y cerca del metro, es muy fácil llegar desde el aeropuerto o llegar a él. La estación de tren también está muy cerca, aun estación o unos 12 min caminando. Lo único malo es que no tienen elevador y cargar la maleta hasta el 3er piso no fue fácil. Si llegas después de las 10pm debes hacer el check in con la máquina, esta podría ser mas amigable, es lenta y te hace dudar si lo estás haciendo correctamente pero al final logras hacer tu mismo tu check in. Definitivamente volvería a este hotel.

Excellent location and beautiful hotel. The courtyard is great, especially on a hot day because there is lots of shade. I couldn’t hear the trains going by despite the track being next to my room on the 3rd floor

Die UNterkunft ist direkt (!!!) neben den S-Bahn schienen. Deshalb wackelt im 3 min -Takt das Haus. Die Leute könne nichts dafür, aber als Gast sollte man es wissen.

Insgesamt ein guter Aufenthalt. Einziger Kritikpunkt, der aber nicht den Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeitern angelastet wird ist, dass man die Fenster nicht öffnen konnte, was wahrscheinlich darsn lag um Lärmschutz zu gewährleisten oder eine Vorbeugung ist, damit man nicht aus dem Fenster springt. Da ich gerne bei offenen Fenstern schlafe ein kleiner Wermutstropfen. Sonst alles ok.

Bad experience

A very bad experience with a railway next to the window and instead of investing in an elevator and renovating the showers, the hotel is full of poor decoration that pretends to be art.
