Quiet Stay in Berlin

We really liked the Alecsa. We are a family of four plus one dog. The hotel is in a quiet part of Berlin in section B of the public transportation map. The closest station is 10 minutes walk through a nicer neighborhood and restaurants and shops are even closer. The breakfast offered by the hotel is good and for a decent price. The staff is excellent.

Gute Übernachtungsmöglichkeit!

Unser Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm, Personal sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Vor allem die Nähe zur Waldbühne und dem Olympiastadion ist hier echt super. Anbindung S-Bahn in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Das einzige „Manko“ sind die wenigen Hoteleigenen Parkplätze, bei Veranstaltung in der Waldbühne, ist die Parkplatzsituation etwas schwierig.

Good Christmas stay as couple

Our stay was generally very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and matches the photos quite well. The location was convenient for us, as we were a short (<5 minute) walk from the train station (S-Bahn). We had a really great time in Berlin, and this hotel was definitely a part of that. It was comfortable and clean, and we enjoyed our time there. The room was very spacious. I would note that this does not meet many peoples' expectations of a traditional hotel. It is more like a hostel that had been converted into a hotel. There is daily room cleaning, which is good. The surrounding area is quite dimly lit at night which can be uncomfortable for some people walking back (alone) at night. This location is excellent if you intend on visiting Christmas markets (as we did), since it is close to Spandau, Zoologischer Garten, Alexanderplatz and several other Christmas markets.

Dieses Hotel befindet sich in einem umgestalteten Plattenbau mit ca 11 Etagen. Es ist praktisch eingerichtet. Die Rezeption ist klein, aber immer besetzt, das Personal sehr freundlich. Es gibt einen köeinen Fahrstuhl oder das Treppenhaus. Die Nottür war leider abgeschlossen, was im Ernstfall sicher kontraproduktiv wäre. Unser Zimmer hatte ein Doppelbett und zwei Doppelstockbetten. Das Bad war ohne Fenster, hatte Wanne und das nötigste. Leider waren die Heizungen im Wohnraum abgestellt. Das Bett und Zimmer wurden ordentlich gemacht, kleinere Mängel bei der Sauberkeit. Ein TV und Fön waren auch vorhanden. Die Zimmer schienen alle über Balkon zu vefügen. Leider sind diese sehr hellhörig, wenn man "laute" Nachbarn hat, die sich bis halb drei nachts auf jenem unterhalten. Das Frühstück haben wir nicht getestet, erschien uns aber für 9€/Erwachsenem angemessen.

Für drei Tage Stadturlaub absolut ausreichen. Schönes, vor allem sauberes Bad. Nette Rezeption und nettes Personal beim Frühstück. Sehr leckeres Rührei. Reichlich Auswahl. Gegenüber (hinter dem Hochhaus) ein guter Italiener (Il Porto).

Good hotel in quiet location

PROS: Location is decent in a quiet residential area relatively close to S-Bahn station. Street parking is free and usually available near the hotel. Breakfast buffet is very good (although it is an extra charge). Room is spacious and clean with comfortable beds. CONS: Shower water temperature was either scalding hot or ice cold with nothing in between making taking shower there a very uncomfortable and possibly dangerous experience. Wi-Fi did not work on anyone’s devices either because of a bandwidth or the hotel’s local network issue.

Ein einfaches Hotel mit bis zu 6 Betten auf dem Zimmer zum kleinen Preis. Für uns als 5 köpfige Familie war das Hotel erschwinglich und wir konnten den Filmpark Babelsberg und Potsdam erkunden ohne direkt mitten ins Berliner Chaos zu müssen. Eine wanne und WC sind auch vorhanden sowue ein kleiner Balkon. Wir haben dann vor Ort noch Frühstück dazugebucht welches sehr reichhaltig war für nur 9 euro p.p sowue 4 für unseren Grössten Sohn.(11). Alles in allem top und sehr zentral Achja ruhig war es auch.

Bra hotell.

Vi valde detta hotell när vi körde hem från Ungern. Detta hotellet har sköna sängar, bra städat, ok frukost som är värd pengarna. Lite svårt att hitta parkering platser (högsäsong) men man får parkera gratis på gatorna. Kommer att testa tillgängligheten på detta hotell nästa år igen.

Väldigt prisvärt hotell med reception som är öppen 24 h om dygnet. Vårt familjerum för fem pers var väldigt rymligt och ljust. Rent och fräscht med bra bufféfrukost. Tio min promenad till S-bahn i ett väldigt lugnt och tryggt område.

Diese Unterkunft können wir nur jedem empfehlen. Sie ist optimal mit Anbindung an die S-Bahn gelegen. Die Zimmer sind sehr modern renoviert und gemütlich. Das Frühstücksbuffet können wir nur empfehlen. Das Hotel ist ruhig gelegen und optimal für Veranstaltungen im Olympiastadion. Wir kommen gerne wieder :)
