The location, inside the Ostbahnhof, is the best thing about this hotel: easy to get around Berlin and close walking distance to Berghain if you're going to be dancing. Rooms are simple and efficient. There is no climate control in the rooms so if it's hot out it may be uncomfortable; I slept with the window open. For extra quiet, I'd recommend asking for a room facing the inner courtyard. There aren't really any amenities or common areas to enjoy in the hotel. There are two supermarkets and plenty of food options in the train station. Rooms have refrigerators and electric kettles.

We had a great time staying here, staff was very friendly, they took care of our bags after checking out, next to the train station, but also walk distance to East Side Gallery The place was really clean, bed was very comfy, would definitely stay again

If you are on business and need WiFi do not book this hotel. WiFi is non existent. I am sorry German hotels, but get your act together. Wi-Fi should be like hot and cold running water. We shouldn’t even have to think about it now.

The safe in my room was inoperable the entire time I was there. Also the wifi went out on the ONE DAY that I actually needed to use it to do work / check into my flight etc. Kinda horrible for a commuter hotel to not have these basics covered.
