Check-in was easy. We were there for a long, quiet weekend. The room size was nice size. The bathroom is very small. The walls and door allowed for a lot of noise to come in the room. A lot of traffic on the road in front of the property with many sirens/fire department traffic. They have a spa in the property that is not owned by them. I called to book an appointment left a message. They never called back. I called again several hours later and they were booked for the next day. They have a restaurant on property. If you would like to eat there, you would definitely want to make a reservation. Once again, we were not able to get anything until late evening so we opted not to eat there. We asked the hostess if there were other options nearby, she gave us only one and there were many places you could drive close by. The little town is lovely if you want to visit. Very historical and lots of cute shops.

My husband and I stayed for a romantic getaway and just loved it! It was a short walk to the Old Roman Bathhouse and room service was amazing. The food was excellent and all of the staff was friendly. We will definitely be returning.

This property has so much potential because of where it is, but it looks like it was last remodeled in the 1980s. Polyester sheets, lumpy pillows. I want it to do well, but I cannot recommend it. Let's hope the owners invest in it!

The Country Inn at Berkeley Springs, WV is a good value for the price. It is only steps away from the hot mineral springs, of which there are 3 levels to bathe in: The State Park, The Old Roman Bath, or the lovely Renaissance Spa. The hotel has rooms that have been renovated and others that retain the flare from a century ago - an historian's dream. The staff are polite but don't really go any extra mile to ensure a good stay. Drinks are great, but the food is the only shortcoming. Many dishes are too heavy. If they can improve upon the dining experience and make the Sunday bruch worth the cost, then they will have a first rate spa weekend experience.

Room needs detailing like behind the bed and small spaces on floor and walls. Temperature was difficult to regulate to a comfortable level because of the blower. I spent most of the night trying to find the right combo of heater blowing and open window. Overall was a decent stay (one night), hotel was decorated lovely for Christmas, restaurant and spa right in the facility. Wish I had known the whole town closes up on T and W during the winter months even around Christmas. Renaissance Spa was beautiful and wonderful experience.

The Country Inn at Berkley Springs is a charming, aging, Colonial style property in the heart of Berkeley Springs and adjacent to the State Park with its historic bath houses with thermal spring waters. It has a lovely reception area and lounge tastefully furnished and decorated with period furniture and lithographs portraying scenes of the earliest years of the United States. There are a high quality restaurant and tavern with bar and booth seating at one end of the hotel and a pleasant, leafy garden snd patio bar at the other. Our room was in a four story annex containing most of the hotels bedrooms; it was spacious and comfortable and nicely furnished in American Colonial style The main house is not large enough to contain more than a few bedrooms. We loved the ambiance, the convenience to the thermal baths, the full service, reasonably priced restsurant, and the helpful, friendly staff. We thought the hotel needed a minor renovation to make its many virtues shine. On the whole we loved our stay here. It is excellent value if one is content with unpretentious, fading charm.

Very nice place to stay and enjoy the local stores and hot springs. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Restaurant and bar was very enjoyable. Rooms were very clean, beds comfy. Would stay again.

We found the property and room very lovely. Some of the staff (front desk), were snarky and one actually rolled her eyes at me when I asked if it was possible to check in an hour earlier then their scheduled check in time as we had a very early dinner reservation. Weekend bartender was very friendly.

On a lark my wife and I booked this property. Wow! Beautiful historic place, a mini Greenbrier without the excess. Beautiful downtown with easy walking to shop. Don't miss the Nepal shop 2 blocks away, the owner is a veritable tour guide. The outdoor dining options, and the confortable country appointed rooms were awesome. We will be back soon for more spa services and to explore a wonderful place.

Great Place in Berkeley Springs
We went there for our wedding anniversary and had a great time. We stayed in the Historic Inn (my wife likes old buildings with character). The room had A/C, a refrigerator, and cable TV. The showers use water from the springs and are heavenly. We ate several times at the restaurant and had great meals and good service each time. The location, right next to Berkeley Springs State Park is incredibly convenient for accessing the springs, Roman Baths, Art in the Park, and live music there. It is a lot like being at the Greenbrier, but much kinder on your bank account!

Great service, especially in the restaurant & lounge. One negative, one has to request a visit from housekeeping, which i didnt know. Subsequently ran out of soap early on the morning of checkout. A great stay regardless. Highly recommend the Springs

The Inn has a period charm: the public rooms are well-kept and the staff pleasant and obliging. Rooms in the annex are spacious and comfortable if lacking attractiveness. Somehow, the place gives an air of just hanging on: deferred maintenance is evident and the buildings on the hill look like a firetrap. But we had a comfortable stay, good food, and welcoming treatment.

Property was nice. One thing to note, you cannot adjust the temperature in the room so if you are a warm sleeper know that you cannot turn up or down the AC.
