Did not have basic amenities in the room that anyone will need, like phone to call the front desk, charging phone, etc. Very old building without upgrading the interior. Had old smell from I believe from floor and carpet. Breakfast was very good.

Location is perfect, vety close to Bergen port. Bus hotel is rather old and need renovation. Room was spacy but without AC. Breakfast was also very good as always in Scandic hotels.

Great Location
Great location, comfortable stay with very nice breakfast. Older hotel, but well kept. It was a bit noisy at night as cars and bikes came into the area, but nothing too serious.

Not a good experience staying there.
The hotel is too tired and old. The drawers and wardrobe handles were broken and the faulty bedside light was not replaced. There were still something left inside the drawer from the previous occupiers when we checked in. The bed mattress was VERY VERY SOFT which I have never encountered before. The only good thing was the breakfast provided.

Good central location
It was a good stay. Its time all european hotels fix air cooling/conditioning devices in room as summers are long and hot with no cooling in room. They should fix handles on both walls on either sides of tub bath, otherwise its very unsafe to step out of tub on the floor. Breakfast was very good. Exhuast in toilet was not working and not fixed on request also. They need above improvements....Rajendra Vidwans

Because the hotel evidently expanded by taking on a neighboring space, our room access to elevator or stairs leading to lobby was confusing. We walked a U pattern from the elevator, turned left, climbed a few stairs and down the hall found our room. The sitting area in the room was a bonus.

The location is excellent. The property however is in decline The manager running the breakfast room was extremely rude and unaccommodating. She spoiled and otherwise acceptable stay.

Best Stay in Bergen
Amazing stay!!! Right in the center with walking distance to all places! The room and bathroom was huge and premium ! We were on the 8th floor so we had an amazing view of Bergen from our laaarge window. And it was way beyond our expectations 😊

My room was cold when I arrived. There was a radiator but I couldn't see how to turn it on. I asked the reception guy and he said when I put the key in it will turn on. 1 hour later the radiator was still cold. I asked him again how I could know if it was going to get warm at some point, he said he didn't know and the manager didn't know either. Not very helpful! He offered another room in the older part of the hotel, saying that they are usually warmer. He gave me a key and I checked it but it was cold too. He didn't offer any solution so I had to ask if he had a portable heater. He did have one that he gave me and that finally worked. But altogether I waited about 2-3 hours to get the room warm!
