Staff and service at this hotel is excellent, unfortunately the rooms are a bit dated and my room which was within the main building of this hotel was uncomfortably warm (even with the window open in early June).

Hotel was booked out. We had a reservation for four people for two nights. When we arrived there was no room available for us. We had to wait almost three hours for a solution. Solution was: We slept in a room with two small beds but were 4 People. NOW: Hotel won’t do any compensation. I paid for two nights in a family room. This is not acceptable.

I wonder which institution determines the number of stars because with regard to this hotel Fletcher Marijke in Bergen, people are quite wrong. The small room was known but a bathroom of very minimal size, no cold shower water, no balcony, no air conditioning or mechanical ventilation in the room, mattresses too soft, parking fee 7.50 per day, no swimming pool, you wonder where it is 4 star rating ? comes from. That will not only be based on the staff and breakfast because that was great !

There was mold at the wall in the wardrobe. I mentioned this to the lady at reception the next day when we left. The woman responsible for the household was also present there. She already knew this problem. Nevertheless, these rooms were rented to us! Luckily we were only there for one night.

Het was oud. Niet goed schoon en ontbijt was minimaal ( ei koud en blik fruit). Parkeerplaatsen weinig. Dus ik kom niet meer. Zeker geen 4 sterren.

Zeer matig

Foto impliceert verblijf in rustieke villa; in werkelijkheid zijn 3 huizen in de straat bijgekocht en uitgebreid met maximaal aantal kamers; wij zaten in benauwde ongeventileerde zolderkamer met schuine wanden en afgezaagde deur. Ter illustratie; badkamerspiegel wijst onder hoek van 45 graden naar de vloer… gasten roken tijdens ontbijt, elke consumptie direct afrekenen, betaald parkeren, bij te vroeg arriveren schools wachten voordat je sleutel krijgt; niet omdat kamer niet gereed is maar omdat het nog geen 15.00h is. Al enkele malen positief verrast door Fletcher, hier absoluut niet…

Nur der Preis hatte 4 Sterne

Eigentlich hatte ich gedacht ich gehe in ein 4 Sterne Hotelit einer guten Ausstattung aber es kam ganz anders der Preis hatte 4 Sterne aber der Rest hatte eigentlich nur einen Stern verdient leider. Die Heizung war defekt und heizte den ganzen Tag obwohl es schon draußen sehr warm war, das Zimmer war ziemlich schlecht gereinigt ich war von Fletcher Hotel sehr sehr enttäuscht.
