Passed down our family line since 1889, the Villa has been freshly refurbished to celebrate and highlight its iconic, antique features.

Designed with cool clay interior walls, the villa blends colonial charm with modern comforts to give you an unforgettable stay.

Located 65km south of Colombo in the coastal town of Bentota and within walking distance of the famous Bentota Beach, Fortress de Jayaweera provides the complete holiday experience - an oasis of culture, class and comfort..

Simply awesome - thank you

A delightful country, area, house and hosts. The location of Fortress de Jyaweera was perfect a special mix of tranquility at the property and walking distance to the village, beach and restaurants. From welcome to departure Indrani and Nimal were excellent. We enjoyed the trips (optional) that were organised and had some awesome experiences. Holiday memories we will not forget.

Wir haben eine Woche in dem traumhaften Ferienhaus in Bentota verbracht. Ein Haus in altem Kolonialstil und einem wunderbaren Garten mit großem und sehr gepflegtem Swimmingpool. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Unsere sehr sympathischen Gastgeber waren bei Fragen und Wünschen immer sofort hilfreich zur Stelle. Die Lage des Hauses ist ruhig, aber der Strand, Geschäfte und Bahnhof sind in 15 Minuten zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Wir können dieses wunderschöne Haus in jeder Beziehung für einen Urlaub empfehlen. Wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen.
