Newly created in 2022, the 900sf loft is one of nine apartments located just steps away from the area’s favorite lunch and breakfast venue, the Mason Jar Cafe.
The Space:
900 sf of urban industrial elegance overlooking the city of Benton Harbor. Centrally located between Whirlpool’s Lakeview and Riverview campuses and a short drive to Corewell Lakeland Regional Health Center. Custom cabinetry, granite counters, polished concrete floors… exposed steel ceilings, and ductwork. Full laundry. Central air.
Guest Access:
The loft is located in a Renaissance neighborhood featuring restaurants, galleries, and attractive green spaces. Lake Michigan is just a mile away. Dedicated off-street parking. This is a 2nd story “walk-up”… stairs only, no elevator.
The Neighborhood:
The Arts District is a walkable Renaissance neighborhood that has evolved slowly over a span of nearly twenty years. A bit edgy...perhaps mysterious. We’re a very short walk to the Mason Jar Cafe, Verde Juice Box, the Houndstooth Restaurant, Forte Coffee, Anemel Tortaria, the Livery Brew Pub, and Water Street Glassworks, as well as several studios and galleries. The District is a work in progress - First-time visitors may find the area on the quiet side, but the future of the neighborhood is exciting and continues to attract creative pioneers and investors that add to the historic urban vibe. Your visit helps build our story!
We’re just one mile from Whirlpool’s Riverview Campus and right around the corner from the Golf Club at Harbor Shores, home of the Senior PGA. The sandy beaches of Jean Klock Park along Lake Michigan are a short drive away and offer beachgoers the most expansive sandy beach in the area. St. Joseph is just across the river, offering additional dining and shopping destinations.
Getting Around:
The Arts District neighborhood is roughly 5 square blocks - its easy to explore on foot. St. Joseph, Lake Michigan and other local sites can be reached in 5-10 minutes by car.
Other Things to Note:
The loft shares an exterior entrance and hallway with 3 other apartments.
Renovations are underway in the commercial space downstairs through the end of May, so please be aware that there may be some sounds of construction during the day.
Please respect out quiet hours from 10pm to 7am.

We had an AMAZING stay for our anniversary in Benton Harbor/St. Joseph! The place was clean, warm and inviting. It looked just like the pictures, and better! We were even given a personal greeting on arrival (which was so nice). We woud def recommend staying here again!
It was exactly as pictured. Decor was impeccable every detail thought of. Walkable to multiple restaurants and coffee. Minutes away from St. Joe and Silver Beach. Could not have asked for a better location, friendly neighbors Cannot wait to come back. Don’t let this gem be missed!
We stayed over Memorial Day holiday. The place was clean and beautiful. Loved the industrial design throughout the property. Got many ideas to take home. Check in and check out was easy. Owner quickly responded to any questions we had. Walking distance to shopping and eating. Definately recommended.
