Funky style house with the outdoors at your feet, yet within city limits!

"The house was such a unique trip so much richer! I would come back absolutely. The hose was so generous with their advice and time. It was a bit out of town if you didn't have a car obviously, but it was such a nice setting that it meant just being there to relax felt fulfilling too in between adventures. My son and I are autistic and love to travel but it's so much better in such a 'homey' place and the fully equipped kitchen meant I could make some of our stable comfort food which greatly helps the adventuring too. Such a great place to stay for the week. THANK YOU! "
"Sadly, we only stayed one night while passing through. We enjoyed the comfort yurt!!! The bedding was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was very clean and plenty of hot water. We really enjoyed the hot tub. The staff was amazing. "
"The dome (vice the 2 cabins) is closer to glamping. This is very much a get surreal with nature moment. The geodesic dome is located just above the lake where you can hear the gentle tumble of waves on the shore and has a skylight, “panoramic windows” facing the shore and a wood stove waiting for you to light it up.
There is no electricity in the dome, no WiFi and minimal cellular connectivity, so get ready to disconnect from your social network and to reconnect with nature.
Bring your own food, but the utensils etc are provided. The is a wood fired sauna and a plunge pool/tank and the lake (about as cold the plunge tank) - frosty in August.
It dropped to 8C overnight but we were snug and warm weighed down with enough blankets and comforters.

"Great communication with owner and the cabin was a fantastic place to soak in the mountain views and disconnect.Although we experienced chilly weather, the outdoor shower was part of the rustic charm.We were surprised at first, but actually loved the fact that outhouse had no door. Great views on the mountains!Just a heads up to other campers: although the cabin description indicates wifi access, the satellite dish is actually connected to another cabin, so your access is dependent on these visitors turning their power on and off.Otherwise, a great stay and would definitely visit again."
