"Leaf Your Troubles Behind"-Ground level condo near downtown Bend

This condo is Unit 114/115, A.K.A "Leaf Your Troubles Behind", It is part of the Pioneer Park Condominiums on the edge of downtown Bend, near the banks of the Deschutes River.

This condo is roughly 650 square feet, and will sleep 4 comfortably in the 2 separate sleeping areas. The master bedroom that features a king sized bed and has a communicating lockable door between the living room. The living room features a futon, which we suggest only be used by children, although adults are welcome to it as well.

Enjoy the ambiance of the fireplace on those chilly Bend nights. The fireplace not only gives a cozy feeling to the unit but also will heat up the unit just nice. There is an additional heater/ac combo that is available as well to heat up or cool down the room to your liking. You will also have access to wifi.

This unit is in the Pioneer Park Condominiums, a development originally intended to be a downtown hotel near the Deschutes River. Several decades ago the individuals and families who owned the units in this former "condotel" decided to change course and get out of the hotel business, converting their units into private residences and vacation units. Therefore the units here all have a very personalized environment, given that each unit has amenities and furnishings hand-picked by their individual owners.

Peaceful get away

A wonderful scenic and quiet getaway. The condo was very cozy, with a wonderful view of the river from the balcony. My wife and I really enjoyed the relaxing and peaceful location.

Cozy Retreat in a Great Location

We were in town for a ski vacation. This condo was very clean, accessible, and in a great location to both the Mt Bachelor and all downtown bend has to offer. Thank you for letting us stay. We hope we can return in the future!

The apartment was in a walkable location to downtown. It was very comfortable for our stay with a bedroom and large living space, kitchen. I marked down cleanliness as the carpets were stained and there was a faint smell of smoke in the entry way.

Enjoyed our stay at "Leaf Your Troubles Behind". The condo's location was perfect for everything we wanted to do in the area. We hiked during the early part of the day, then explored the "in town Riverwalks and Breweries. Condo was set up well for our 5 night stay.

comfortable spot, right next to the deschutes river with some nice wading spots. 10m walk from downtown. Nice little kitchen and balcony with grill. Would recommend for a couple looking for a nice spot to explore bend

Good. It was our first stay in a vrbo. The property in bend was an advertised..spacious and clean. While its not where the most touristy things in bend are located, its relatively close by..a long 20min walk or 5min car ride away.

We had a great stay at this property. Location was great traveling to and from Mt. bachelor. We have had problems with the VRBO app. Email go to my husbands email, which then goes to SPAM. We have lost a reservation and MONEY on top of that. This is NOT your fault, but please make sure your customers are aware of this.

Nice place

We enjoyed our stay over the other options available it was clean and comfortable. The heating only works on the living side of the condos (not it appears to technically be two rented together. The bathroom sides get quite cold (and it was in October and not snowing yet). So bring something warm for those rooms. Otherwise it was a nice place in a relatively quiet area.

Bend Get Away

Several lights were burned out. Batteries in the TV tuner were dead. There were no instructions on how to use the TV and I didn't get that all figured out for a day or two. We appreciated the cleanliness of the apartment and the helpfulness of the front desk person. This was a last minute reservation beginning the day after Christmas so we were fortunate to find this place available.

Great Location

The locations was perfect. We were able to walk to shopping and restaurants as well as several parks. The host was great at responding when I had a question. The drawbacks were that there was no comfortable seating for relaxing, only an uncomfortable futon. The only tv viewing options were Roku so we didn't get live news. The internet was too slow to be able to watch anything. Worst of all was the unit was dirty. At a glance it looked okay but there were dirty dishes in the cupboards. The floors were so dirty it caused mud if they got wet. At least the linens were clean.

Good location in Bend

Was a really good location to jump on highway and go sight-seeing, grocery store nearby, and close to downtown. As in other reviews the WiFi isn’t great so I would not recommend for someone planning to work remotely. My group didn’t spend time at the place during the day but we tried to watch movies at night and it would freeze. Another item was the heat you will need to turn up to at least 75 as the units do not run very often. We also tried one night to turn on the fireplace but nothing happened so would recommend some additional directions on how to properly start. If you plan to do laundry, you will need to have quarters and the laundry facility does not have a change machine, we had to go to local gas station and get change. We utilized the bed and futon, the futon is definitely for children sleeping only, not comfy for adults. If only plan to utilize the bed that was very comfy. The rest of the place was good with having two full bathrooms and well stocked kitchen.
