Loge appears to be a new model of hotel geared around the outdoor enthusiast, and that is what appealed to me. My room had a hammock hanging from the ceiling, multiple bike racks, a boot dryer, a Yeti cooler for a small table and an outside gear locker. The property also was right next to miles of hiking/biking trails. There were multiple outdoor seating areas with LP gas fire pits, everything looked great except we had a hard rain for most of my stay.
I also didn't realize the hotel adds on their own "FAFO Amenity Fee" of $20 (per day??? not sure) which wasn't apparent when I was comparing places to stay on the Hotels.com website. This fee covers their fleet of mountain bikes that were available for use, but I didn't take advantage of due to the rain.
This hotel isn't for everyone but for someone who will be spending time outdoors and likes the idea of a quirky, hostel like atmosphere with the luxury of a private room and bathroom -- this would be the place. I plan to come back, when the weather is a little nicer.
