The host was great at communicating and the house was perfect! Between the hot tub, game room, and open floor plan, we had the best time as a family. Being right on the river was beautiful! We would love to come back!
Great house, quiet with river access and a nice firepit overlooking the river. Close enough to Sunriver and Cascade Lakes with more privacy than staying in the resort.
If I had the option of a 6 star rating I would give this home 6 stars. Great place for day trips, many options within 30 minute radius. Our favorite was Crater Lake which is longer but worth the drive! Home is very comfortable after a long day or just to hang out all day! Thanks for the hospitality!
This was a wonderful property. It was right on the Deschutes River, in a quiet neighborhood, and close to trails in the woods and along the river. The game room was a bonus, and the home was well kept and spacious. The outdoor spaces were well designed and we watched as deer came through the property and crossed the river. it was a wonderful place to come our family gathering.
The house fit all of our needs for a birthday weekend get away. There were eight of us and we all felt we had plenty of space and privacy when needed. We ended up floating the amazing river right at the backyard. The welcome book gave great instructions on good floats. Ended up playing so much pool! Having a tv in every room was fantastic for having music on. The hot tub was very clean and appreciated! The kitchen was stocked well with cookware and utensils. Highly recommend a stay here with friends, family, or even a romantic getaway. Could not of been happier with the experience and the hosts! I’ll be staying here again
Loved the property!! Very clean and just as described. Would love to stay there again. Master bed comfortable. Steam shower amazing. Didn't have time to use kayaks or hot tub unfortunately
Property was great. We failed to do our own homework and didn’t realize it’s not legal to fish in this portion of the river certain times of the year. But quite peaceful location.
We had wonderful stay. Beautiful and spacious home in a peaceful setting. Loved the game room, hot tub and gas fireplace. Perfect way to unwind and relax!
This is an absolutely lovely property. The house is large and bright with lovely furnishings and decor. We could not have asked for a better place to hang out.

House condition good, but we can't swimming, fishing on the river, place very dangers!
Very comfortable and fun home. Thoroughly enjoyed the house and surrounding area. Lots of wildlife to watch. Close to everything we needed. Would definitely stay there again.
Beautiful home in a very quiet neighborhood. The place was perfect and left very little to be desired. Beds are firm but we liked them alot actually. Make sure to bring bottled water.
Intended Spring getaway that turned into winter getaway.
Unfortunately, our spring trip turned into a winter trip with rain and snow most days. Fortunately, the home was perfect for enjoying time with friends.
We made the most of all the listed amenities and they made the time in the home a blast.
The home is just as advertised, would definitely stay there again if in that neck of the woods.

Was very quiet and relaxing. River access to launch kayaks was a little difficult for older part of our group. And stairs were also a little challenging. But a beautiful home and thank goodness for A/C.. Everyone loved the view from the deck!
The property and house were beautiful. Very quiet location. Close to good hiking and shopping.
Loved everything about our stay. The steam shower is amazing.
There was a surprise visit from the hot tub cleaner. I wish we wound have known he was come. We were a bit startled at a man behind the house.
Also there is a leak under the kitchen sink. And property management was non responsive.
Mostly putting this in there so they know it’s there. Other than that that the house was very well maintained.
We loved this property, and would definitely stay again. The owners were wonderful to work with, and it was everything the online description mentioned, and then some. It is a little ways past the Sunriver Resort; maybe 15 minutes... You feel like you're in the mountains, and it's very quiet. We loved that!
The only thing we didn't love, and I mean the ONLY thing, was the master bedroom bed. It was a king size bed, but it was hard as a rock... I think it was a Tempur-Pedic bed, but there was not one ounce of "give," or memory foam, in it. It honestly felt like we were sleeping on the floor, with a tiny bit of padding. I woke up several times, each night, due to it being so hard to sleep on. (My hubby and I are 63)
As previously mentioned however, we would stay in this beautiful place again, but next time, I would 100% bring something to put under the sheets, to soften the mattress. (Down comforters, waffle foam, a new mattress) :) Just kidding, but you get the drift...
In closing, I cannot say enough good things about this property... Fun game room, gorgeous deck, huge living area, excellent "cooks" kitchen, which is fully stocked, fantastic master bathroom, with the BEST towels, wonderful fireplace and fire pit, and just an all around wonderful home. We feel honored to have stayed there...

Awesome and quiet location close to bend! Perfect for a get together with a few friends and fur babies! :-) house and property are very well maintained.
We had a great time staying at this property. The air quality was not good because of the Creekside Fire but we found plenty to do inside with the wonderful game room, 65 inch TV’S and huge hot tub (outside)! Ate dinner in Sunriver and enjoyed the High Desert Museum just a few miles away. There were so many deer relaxing and passing through at all times during the day. We were able to go kayaking one day upstream and back downstream without any problems. Enjoyed the waterfalls in the area too. We will definitely be back!
This house is really great for a family. There were 6 of us and our dog, and the space was perfect. We particularly enjoyed the deck (which we had breakfast and dinner on every day), the kayaks and the pool table; in fact we had a mini tournament of parents vs kids. It was nice that the downstairs had it's own tv so the kids could watch scary movies on our Netflix acct (very handy) while we were upstairs enjoying the evening on the deck. We didn't use the hot tub a lot, because we were there in August and evenings were still pretty warm, but when we did it was very nice. The river access is super close; even though it's not on the property it was literally maybe 1 minute away on the little trail. You could see it from the deck, that's how close it is. We took the dog for a walk each day on the trails at the end of the adjoining road and he loved all the great smells.
I would say the only drawback to the house is that my GPS told us to get there via Foster Road off St Rec Road. DON'T DO THIS. The road is red clay, bumpy and when it says it takes 7 min to travel 1.8 miles they aren't kidding. It's so much easier to go around by Thousand Trails and S Century Drive. So the drawback isn't really a drawback since there's a work around.
Overall I would stay here again, and I've already recommended it to a couple of friends.
Our family of 7 had a wonderful time.
The house was very comfortable and plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed floating and kayaking on the river, chilling in the jacuzzi, and being competitive in the game room. We rented bikes in the village and biked to the waterfalls.
The A/C in the house was very much appreciated as we did have a few 90+ afternoons.
We plan to reserve this house again for or our next visit to Suntiver . It was awesome!
Friends coming together to relax on a long weekend, enjoyed cooking, floating the river, firepits and outdoor time. Staying at this home on the Deschutes was incredibly peaceful and recharging.
Home is well appointed with great linens, kitchen amenities, seating for a group and game room! And more. The owners, Chris and Erin are fantastic and responsive. We will be back!
