Kaleana’s Garden

Come for a visit in beautiful Bend Oregon
Come stay in the heart of the Old West side of Bend in a cute craftsman style house. You will love the location of the house so close to so many things. Come and enjoy all it has to offer with the beautiful Drake Park two blocks away and a short walk through the park to the old down town with all the best eating and dinning Bend has to offer. From the Deschutes Brewery to Mcmenamins Brew pub. Or walk two blocks to coffee shops, bakery and several great dinning places on the west side. Have the convenience of a bike and Ski shop two blocks away and great shopping treat at the Newport Market. The Old Mill District Shopping area, within minutes away which has a 16 complex movie theater, REI, and many more great shops.

You are 20 minutes from Mt Bachelor Ski area for great skiing and snowboarding, don’t want to drive there is a bus shuttle 5 min. away.

A fully equipped kitchen oven, microwave, dishwasher and all the dishes and pots and pans you need for those nights you wish to stay in for the evening.

This is a two story house so any concerns for our guests about stairs … the second bedroom is up stairs and the bedroom down stairs has one step down into the bedroom … for those who need to take that into consideration when booking.

The two bedrooms both with queen beds, linens and towels are all supplied and they both have their own full bathrooms. So this is great for four people , family or two couples The main house has a drive way that you can park two cars off the street. Has fully fenced in private back yard to enjoy with patio table and chairs. BBQ to cook when staying in for the evening. If you have any questions or need anything during your stay with us you can contact us in the apartment behind the house

Kaleana’s cottage is the perfect place to enjoy your stay in Bend. With the many outdoor activities to enjoy from hiking, biking, boating, golfing, skiing, snowboarding, and much more

We personally take care of the cleaning and maintenance on our home .. we follow the strictest guide lines to the cleaning of the home for our guests ... we have made adjustments to ensure that our guests have a wonderful stay with us ! So we want you to enjoy your stay with us and we will take care of everything when you leave.

Our house is only listed on VRBO and is the only way to book our home ... if you see adds any where else they are fake .. as we only book through the VRBO website

NOTICE if you have stayed at our home in the past ... we now are a two bedroom rental in the past we had three bedrooms available but it has changed and we only have two bedrooms at this time. Some of the reviews mention that it sleeps 6 but that is not the case any more.

This is a non smoking rental.
And sorry we do not allow pets at this time .

Kaleana's Garden Cottage was perfect for our long weekend in Bend to visit family and climb at Smith Rock. Location was walking distance to great coffee shops- easy to get everywhere. The separation of space was perfect for sleeping and working. Very clean! Would stay here again on our next visit to Bend!

This was our third stay at Kaleana’s Cottage- we love this place! Close to downtown, beautiful plants inside and gardens outside. One bedroom downstairs and another charming bedroom upstairs with a lovely bath and shower. Two couples can comfortably stay here and each have privacy. Fully equipped kitchen and large living room. Place is very clean. The owner is very responsive and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend Kaleana’s Cottage!

The location was perfect! We could walk to so many dining options and breweries. We had our paddle boards that we could drop into the river right around the corner. The host was very attentive. All and all a great stay. We will be back

Charming and comfortable

This is not one of those impersonal investment properties. This is really the hosts' home, and they did a great job of making us feel at home. The cottage is nicely appointed, furnished with comfortable antiques, and has a well-equipped kitchen. We enjoyed the shops and restaurants within walking distance.

Wonderful Bend visit

Had a great stay, feels like your staying at a family members house, house was clean and well stocked. Karen was very responsive and even mailed us back our charging chord for my wife’s phone. Location was perfect as we wanted to be close to downtown.

Darling Bend Oasis

This adorable cottage was the perfect place for our Bend getaway. The location can't be beat....a short stroll to Drake and downtown. Comfortable home stocked with everything we needed and the gorgeous garden backyard was our favorite afternoon spot. We would absolutely stay here again.

Perfect fall getaway

This cottage was exactly what we were hoping for and some. Very cozy and lots of character with its nooks and crannies. If you enjoy gardening you will love the many houseplants and the addition of nice little greenhouse room off the living room. Excellent location and walking distance to Drake Park and the many restaurants nearby. Would definitely rent this cottage again.

Karen and Doyle's cottage met all our expectations

We have visited Oregon since 2018 but Karen and Doyle's cottage is now on the top of our list for future travels. Karen's Cottage is a cozy, living home, with all that is necessary, especially for relaxing, easily accessing Bend restaurants, beautiful downtown and river walks, shopping, etc.

We really enjoyed staying at this house! The pictures dont do it justice. Its very homey and comfortable with a perfect private backyard. Within blocks of the river and lots of restaraunts. We would love to stay here again!

Fantastic stay!

This is our 2nd stay at this lovely cottage. It has everything we're looking for in a spot. It's a great location in Bend, the kitchen is well-supplied and the cottage is very clean. The master bedroom upstairs is charming, with a bright, clean bathroom and a great shower! We'll be returning when we head to Bend again. Thanks Karen!
