Horsley Lodge Hotel

"A lovely hotel and the staff were welcoming. This was a quiet break for myself and my soon to be married daughter. The room was lovely though the view was of the roof which was a shame and not of the beautiful scenery but we needed a rest so wasn’t too concerned. There was a good selection for hot drinks and complimentary biscuits and water which was a nice touch. The food is absolutely first class especially the Sunday Roast! Top marks to the chef and staff who were so friendly. Only one complaint was an odour in our room which the cleaner kindly tried to get rid of but it lingered and a few spiders. We were only there for a short break so didn’t make a fuss. Definitely will recommend ones to visit and definitely will stay again. Thank you."

The restaurant downstairs served up delicious, reasonably priced Indian cuisine, and the full English breakfast and Eggs Benedict were very tasty. The staff were welcoming and very friendly and I would recommend this hotel as it had ample parking and was very reasonably priced."
