The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was peaceful and quiet even with plenty of other guests. My fiancé and I stayed at Timber House to see what it was like before getting married there next year and we were thoroughly impressed.

Unique building and setup. Nice property, walk down to the beach area, lots of places to sit. Rooms are large and comfortable each with an interesting view. Shared kitchen set up is quite novel. Breakfast was served casually without a menu, but every part of it was excellent. Very simple check in and check out.

Resort was nestled on a lovely setting, staff were amazing and breakfast was fabulous. The locally made jams were a wonderful surprise and very tasty. The o Lu issue was accessibility was limited and had asked for a room on lower floor but ended up on 3rd floor which was not the easiest for me. Otherwise would recommend

The Lodge is in a lovely country setting that allows for some strolling around the property and to the lake. Even though I didn’t use it, there is a communal kitchen available for guest use, which could be very handy. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was generous and delicious.

Timber House is a beautiful building..close to Lake ON with easy access..We love the area, and are glad of its location down a quiet road. Easy to access multiple areas including PEC..The breakfast was efficiently served quickly, and was delicious, especially the jam. The rooms are spacious. It is not a new building, so the rooms dont look new, it is inconsequential. The main areas and dining are beautifully upkept and a pleasure to be in. Will always be our choice when returning to that area!

Really enjoyed our stay! Beautiful area and the accommodations were fantastic. Just know that you need to get food offsite. You can bring food and use the shared kitchen. That worked well for us. Staff was amazing and the daily breakfast was perfect. Love the jams.

Breakfast was lovely and staff very nice, just a few updates would make this resort amazing. Cobwebs cleaned from windows and nice sofas in general sitting area. We did have a nice time , Heated pool is very nice .

We were very impressed with the breakfast staff. They were extremely professional and very attentive. The breakfast was excellent. Checking in was disappointing. There was no one to greet us, just a key and a list of directions. The bathroom door in our room wouldn’t close. The toiletries were somewhat limited. We didn’t care for the communal kitchen. Overall the stay was okay, but I doubt we would stay here in the future.

As mentioned in other reviews, breakfast is hot-to-order and not a buffet. But it's excellent quality and quite adequate portions. While the listing says "restaurant", be aware there's no lunch/dinner, so make sure you have a plan as far as food. There are loads of options within a 15-minute drive. This is in a very quiet rural setting. If you're looking for peace-and-quiet, this'll be a good spot. The only caveat is, as other reviews have mentioned, the room walls are very thin, so you'll hear conversations/snoring/etc from nearby rooms. Trick is to fire up the A/C to generate white noise. As mentioned, they don't have lots of staff just milling about. So if you're one of those high-maintenance needy city folk who can't figure out something like "contactless check-in", this might not be the place for you. If something important comes up (didn't for us), you get phone numbers to call.

Everything was just prefect, super clean, spacious, cozy room on third floor, staff was great with communication and directions. Breakfast was offered at 8:30am, made to order goodness!! Grounds and parking were prefect as well. Hidden gem not far off the 401!!! Highly recommend
