"We had an amazing stay at Preskil and we had a lovely sea view where we could also see the pool. The bathroom was amazing with double sinks, powerful shower and a lot of space. The bed was massive and very comfy. The room was spacious and I loved the decor and aesthetics. Staff were lovely and we enjoyed the water skiing that was included. We also received a beach bag on arrival which was a lovely touch."

"The hotel is beautiful and we loved the position. We had a privilege room which was lovely, close to the pool/reception and thankfully meant we weren’t disturbed by the bar/restaurant next door. The staff were in the main really nice and friendly but often quite slow/disorganised. "Our home for the week was fantastic, clean and comfortable with the air conditioner being a saviour. The turn down service was great, though missed for a couple of nights or 3. Unfortunately there was no filter coffee in the room, although I had enquired about that before arrival, and was told that there was filter coffee. The various restaurants were good value food-wise, with the Teak elephant being the best, in our opinion. I used the gym a few times and was impressed with the equipment."

"Lovely stay for our honeymoon at Veranda Pointe Aux Biches. A quiet hotel with it's own private beach and gorgeous sea view rooms. We would highly recommend the Sandy Lane adults only part of the resort, and the day's catamaran trip was fantastic. "

"The Ambre delivered on many fronts and its reputation lies very squarely on its staff. We had excellent service throughout our stay , lots of choice for meals, lots of sun beds (although there was the rush to secure them pretty early and then disappear off to other areas leaving a lack of the more popular ones) The biggest bug bear for us was the smokers around the pool. There is a dedicated smoking area just outside reception but most smokers lit up at their sun beds....cigarettes, pipes and...

"This property really is the perfect hotel. The staff, the food, the view it’s all just lovely. The only negative me and my partner could find was the lack of vegetarian options on the restaurants menus. Staying in other hotels of this this standard they would look to make items off the menu as a vegetarian dish, this wasn’t offered. "

"Value for money if you're on a budget. Positives are location with a private beach and kind of out of the crowded spots of Mauritius. Excellent staff and Mr. Shreeni the manager is an asset for their company. He manages his clients efficiently.
