"We booked this hotel under the pretense that the resturant was open for business and the taxi price rate was similar to the rest of Ecuador or the reviews in our travel book. Hotel served a nice breakfast BUT no other food is available so one must go into Puerto Ayora for lunch and dinner. The taxi rate to and from hotel into town can be anywhere from $10-$15 each way..... if u want to freshen up after a long tour that will be 4 taxi rides......$40-$60 per day. Lawrence offered us a ride...

"The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with hot coffee always on. The location was walking distance to tourist spots in town from the pier to Darwin’s research center. I booked my tours through Galapagos Dreams and Joatan worked up a personalized tour for me. This made my stay easier as the staff kept me informed of pick up times and activities. Overall it really made my stay very enjoyable. "
