"The hotel was "fancy" and the staff was exceptional. However, the surrounding area was quite isolated with not much to explore. We arrived early and were able to check in to our room. Unfortunately, there was some construction taking place at the hotel that was not mentioned during the booking process. "The staff are great and pleasant, non-intrusive, and accommodating. There is 24 hour security with keyless entry into both the property and the rooms. It is within walking distance to the city and Tourism Village, ferries etc. If you are looking for a resort style hotel, this is not the place. The amenities are basic but exactly what a traveller on a budget needs. There are restaurants all over the place so food is never an issue.
