The Boathouse has a studio-style layout with a king-size bed, a kitchen equipped with an oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, kettle and toaster, a dining area and sitting area with TV, DVD player, selection of DVDs and books, balcony and furniture. There’s a bathroom with rolltop bath, walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC. WiFi, fuel and power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Highchair and travel cot are available on request. Outside there’s a non-enclosed patio with barbecue and furniture. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Lake 0.1 miles, pub 1.6 miles, shop 1.7 miles. A serene, romantic retreat awaits at The Boathouse. Please note: this property allows bookings from Monday-Friday, Friday- Monday or 7 night stays starting on a Monday or Friday only.



The Neighborhood:

The picturesque Northumberland village of Belford lies in the heart of Heritage countryside, midway between the popular walled towns of Alnwick and Berwick-upon-Tweed. The pretty coastal village of Bamburgh, with its sweeping beaches and dramatic castle, is only a short drive away. Belford itself is an old coaching village with a pleasant square and offers a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. It is ideally placed for exploring the Northumbrian Coastal Route, Cheviots, the renowned Northumberland Coastline and the Scottish Borders. The opportunity to visit the bird sanctuary or seal colony on the famous Farne Islands with boat trips running daily from nearby Seahouses, is not to be missed. Alternatively check the tide times and cross to Holy Island to visit the historic Lindisfarne Priory.
