  • Welcome to Maine Waterfront Rental on Swanlake we have many homes and cottages. Where the whole family is invited!
    Whether you are having a family vacation, a corporate retreat, or just need to get away, this is the place for you. Birds Nest is a beautiful lake house that sits on the crystal clear spring-fed waters of Swan Lake.
    When you step inside, this property has a way of letting you know that vacation has started. Let your stresses in life melt away at this one of a kind property with plenty to do.
    Bird watching, canoe, kayak, fire pit, water trampoline, dock for fishing or sun bathing.
    This home features a cathedral ceiling in the great room with two stories of glass overlooking the lake, plus a lower-level second kitchen large living room with a slider out to the lake. 2 bedrooms both with its own bathroom one has a washer and dry. The upper level has a master suite with private bath with whirlpool tub and walk in shower. Large upper scale kitchen open to the living room with an eighty inch tv with an 88 ft deck looking over the lake and stream. This home is comfortable for a couple or extended family. Two leather couches, an oval coach, and plenty of space allow for room to spread out. So gather your friends and family, and book now for a fun-filled vacation that you will never forget.

Location is good for people who likes recreational on the lake. Wish that there is more minor amenity like trash can available. Wish the host would respond more efficiently and more helpful with the request.

There is no bannister to the downstairs bedrooms; the stairs are steep. The door to the outside was broken and could open in case of emergency. We communicated that to the owner and someone came but didn’t fix it and never returned.There was no king size bed. The master bedroom has a toilet in it but no door and no door on the shower which sprayed water into the room. The bed was uncomfortable with the makeshift mattress top and caused mattress to become uneven.The water had an unpleasant smell. There are no lamps in the rooms only very bright ceiling lights
